I managed to watch it on my phone whilst at the hockey tournament! We well and truly roasted, boiled, creamed and mashed those spud bastards today!!
Apparently a new Koeman(s) song today... THE KOEMANS THE KOEMANS THE KOEMANS THEY MANAGE THE SOUTHAMPTON SOUTHAMPTON SOUTHAMPTON AND THAT’S THE WAY WE LIKE IT WE LIKE IT WE LIKE IT IN FACT WE ****ING LOVE IT WE LOVE IT WE LOVE IT WOOOAAAAAHHHHHH Come on Ronald, just say yes and you and Erwin can stay here.
Well that was a good day out . Thought it was harsh that they blamed Forster for the first goal, as I think the 'inactive' player made him hesitate. Maybe a bit of a smash and grab against a very physical Tottenham side, but they did not really create too many guilt-edged chances, delighted with the result and it means the West Ham v Man U game is now an important one. Only gripe today was the officials, who I thought made a lot of really poor decisions, albeit it did not influence the outcome of the game.
Steve was asked on Sky if he often scored a brace. He replied, 'I don't normally even score singles.'
Koeman said he is proud to be the manager of Southampton....anyone got a pen? I may have imagined the second bit.
Unfortunately if we can't come to an agreement soon the Government will have no choice but to impose a contract upon Ronald.
I want him to sign, but killing him if he doesn't may be considered by the average man in the street to be a tad over the top.
You mean Ronald said he was proud.? Well, I suppose, in winning football matches, it reacts on people in various ways.
What a weekend for results. Went to Sunderland with my fanatical Black Cats mate. Saw Chelski beaten, John Terry sent off and missing emotional final game. Sunderland staying up, maybe. Middlesbrough promoted so another local Saints game to go to. Then the best bit was Saints doing a job on Spurs. Missed the match because of grandsons birthday party but managed to follow last 20 minutes on computer. Should have done the lottery! What a great end to the season.COYR
I think bribes might be more effective than threats. Can't we just offer him a lifetime's supply of mayonaise?
The ref at Sunderland was definitely not a homer. Booked a Sunderland player for protesting that a Chelsea player wasn't 10 yards from the ball at a free kick. Thought he was going to play until Chelski scored the winner.
