Yup. I was about to say we should ask Atletico Madrid for tips on how to close games out. Poor day to say it because they've blown a 1-0 lead against Levante today but their ability to hold a lead is something we should be aiming to achieve. We panic too much at 1-0 up, if we had a Godin at the back and Gabi type character in midfield I doubt it would happen.

Need to pass it and stop taking risks. It's amazing how many times a clearance falls right at feet of a player or we take 3 touches to clear or pass into a blind ally rather than clear. A quality player sitting in centre circle passing it is what's needed along with competent cbs clearing ball. Unlike sahko efforts half the time.
Well we won. That's all that was good about that game. Ibe made the wrong choice every time he had the ball, think he will be shipped out. I would stick with Ojo a bit longer to see if he develops.
That last chance where he put it wide with 3 guys looking at him for an open goal for any one of them says it all. Ibe should have a hard think here. Ojo is only 18. He needs 2 years to develop physically... he's gangly right now and fades out of game.

Hes mad. The guy had no control over the game and really didn't do shaggy all from that controlling position. The cb's got no cover from him really and Allen player OK like milner this mid week but left the guy on his own... He's just not good.
