Southampton currently leading 2-1. Would this be a good result for us meaning that Spurs will need to beat Newcastle on the final day to guarantee runners up, or is it a sign that Spurs have shot their bolt and are there for the taking? If we beat Everton on Wednesday, this would of course be irrelevant..
They have just gone 1-2 down to Southampton after being in front, if they want to finish second they must beat Newcastle to have any chance of stopping Arsenal finishing above them, I know it all means nowt if we beat Everton but if things don't pan out for us then every little helps.
There will be some optimistic Mags out there thinking Spurs can be beat... but as you all say, they will be desperate to get above the Arse into that runner's up spot. So they will be out on the final day to win to make sure that happens. And Pochettinno is a very driven manager, who doesn't like to slacken off regardless of circumstance. Out of all the teams I would have liked the Mags to play on the final day, I think Spurs would be right near the top. But it is in our hands this year. Our one shot, one opportunity, we need to seize it , this one moment. We need to capture it, and not let it slip away. Yo
This was almost the perfect weekend for us. Just couldn't have gone any better really. Even if Villa had won the mags would have to win their last game. It would be amazing to finish it before the last game, considering where we were just a few months ago and all those draws we've had.
To think we very nearly beat the Saints down there, shows how good we can be, one more huge effort on Wednesday night, and the party can begin, Haway the Lads.
Be gentle with them comm. The delicate little flowers will be in such a state you know. I wonder if they`ll issue a flood warning.
Betcha i get banned first. Despite my good relations with some. There is some reet bell cheese on there.
