Do you think he gets pulled for fitness reasons? If so why can't we bring his fitness levels up and get a 90 minute player?
"We've got Van Dijk" are the only words I could get from that clip. I'm sure those at the game will know. Does Mane say he is sick when VVD sprays the water at him?
MAN OH MAN...what a bloody win.........There is one match I will be watching tonight and savouring every bloody minute.......Well done my Saintly heroes........I understand a good few of you managed to get tickets and went to the smoke......... great stuff. Oh by the way I dropped a fiver while I was up there the other day.....so if anyone finds one its mine........honest
Robbie Savage: "Ranieri, good manager but for me not Leicester. If you play for the Foxes you need someone you can relate to as a manager. O'Neill, Pearson are managers the players can relate to. I'd have gone back to O'Neill or Lennon. It will be a relegation battle whoever was manager. Big name, bad choice in my opinion."
BBC report mentions VVD's new contract - in the same breath they say big clubs will be after him. Can't we ever be mentioned without trying to sell our players? Lazy journalism. I have been out today. If anyone finds full match highlights, I would appreciate it
Earlier in the week I listened to the Leicester season over BBC606. It was hilarious and emotional in turns. Right upto just a few weeks ago, Savage was maintaining that Leicester could not possibly win the league. Even when they were confirmed as making the Champions League he was still expecting them to fail to win the title. Pundits [and supporters] need to learn that nothing is written in stone. Anything is possible. You can never guarantee anything in sport. Some things, in ordinary circumstances, are unlikely, but still not impossible. Managers spend their entire careers telling their players they can achieve as a team. Only pundits and supporters write clubs off before a season begins and ends. One would think they and us will learn to be open minded. I very much doubt it. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b07cd13y
"We've got Van Dijk Virgil Van Dijk You just don't seem to understand He's Ronald Koeman's man He's better than Jaap Stam We've got Virgil Van Dijk." Vin
Well, that game will forever stick in the memory after Onionman Jr said a sentence that has never been uttered before in history: "Blimey, Steven Davis is on a hat-trick!" Vin
Yes, Long deserved a yellow card he had been a pain in Spuds arse all afternoon! No, Mr Moss was a bit inept at times but no bias whatsoever, take off the blinkers. As for Clasie, he worked his socks off, mostly it is off the ball and you don't notice it, but he was cutting off the routes for passing moves from Spuds, there is more to football than what goes on with player on the ball.
Blinkers already removed. Shame Clasie can't produce for 90 minutes. Perhaps biased is the wrong word. favoured might be a slightly more accurate term?
He doesn't need to produce 90 minutes, we have quality replacements if his batteries run low, today I believe he picked up an injury from a kick which was affecting his performance, nothing to do with stamina this time.
