They had a match thread for us, they were so desperate that we fail, 1 even said "need accrington to score as my nerves cant take this" and hoping Windass scores for Accrington so we dont mention Dean Windass again Such sad individuals

 

Well I have to say captain, that was very depressing reading that! That's why I never go on those w*****s site!
I'm just happy climbing the leagues quietly, and for us improving all the time as a club.

 

I just found it all funny. So desperate for us to fail, laughing at when we conceded, upset when we made it 1-1, begging Cureton to score past us or Windass to score for Accy. Being a bag of nerves that we could close that gap. After full time they then go on like they didnt care anyway of course not reds, of course you didnt

 

Almost as funny as us being talked about on slagchat instead of your promotion

 

Much more exciting fighting for promotion though rather than fighting relegation.

 

Personally, I think you should keep that thread going. We have won 2 promotions from 2 seasons since. Also got new owners and everything going great. So please keep it going

 

Got to be honest, when we won promotion (as champions) reading what you lot thought was last thing on my mind. Can't believe you wanted to read a thread by city fans on a city site.
When we was in a relegation battle you lot was either a Coventry fan etc when we was in the play off final you was all Hull fans.
Basically you are the same as what you are reading, hypocrite springs to mind.

 

Shouldn't you be supporting Liverpool instead

I got no problems about your fans wanting Accy and Oxford to win. Its all about banter. I was the same like you said when I wanted other teams to win so it goes wrong for City. So no hypocrisy here from me as it was expected that your fans would want us to fail and take pleasure in it too. The difference though is that when you succeeded when we wanted you to fail, we still said fair shout and gave credit where it was due and congratulated you all. Some have congratulated us with the same respect. Some though, I guess cant and those are the ones that I am laughing at. I see you havent said your congratulations

 

Anyway, me bringing up that thread on otib is because im laughing and taking the piss out of the desperation from some of your fans on that thread. Some comments were hilarious and needed sharing on here and I have. Dont get so upset ROD, its not like you to do so. And for the record, I didnt go looking for city forums. Far from it. I was reading threads on other gas forums which has mentioned City in it (which is what Tommy refers to). Iseen the thread in question and seen the comments from gasheads talking about otib and how funny it was. And they are not wrong I like a good laugh and it didnt disappoint. It is pretty funny reading comments from some that they are nervous about us going up. Its just the icing on the cake for me

 

Some of your lot on slagchat were bitter about us going up last season, works both ways it does

 

Who says I haven't congratulated you? Just because you've not seen it don't mean I haven't. Told you the other day I don't read any other thread on here

 

Also what I dont understand is why a lot of reds would be so interested in us to have a thread over 200 pages just on us. I have read and heard many times from reds in various places that we are not even your rivals. We see you as our rivals of course because we are. But you lot see that massive gap that means we aint rivals. So why the thread on us? I could understand threads about City on gas forums as we obviously see you as our rival. But to get a thread with that many pages on it when we aint rivals according to you lot, and with those comments such as "im nervous, I need Accrington to score" and many other comments similar to just goes to show who the hypocrites are.

City fan... "I dont care about Rovers. They aint our rivals. Mind the gap blah blah blah."
Rovers could get promoted.
City fan... "Im nervous so I need Accrington to score and I hope Windass scores for Accrington so the gasheads can never mention Dean Windass ever again to usand it would be great if Cureton can score the winner for Dagenham."
Rovers got promoted.
City fan... "I dont care about Rovers anyway. They aint our rivals. They are still below us. Mind the gap blah blah blah."
Just full of hypocrisy.

Rovers fan... "City are our rivals. They are above us so lets catch them so we can bring the derbies back blah blah blah."
City could get promoted or relegated.
Rovers fan... "Come on City rivals. We dont want City to get promoted or we dont want City to stay up."
City gets promotion or survives relegation.
Rovers fan... "Well done City, fair shout you lucky bar stewards. We'll go again next season to try and catch you."
No hypocrisy, just consistancy.

 

Im not talking about other gas forums. Im talking about this forum and how some who usually pop over to give the banter, cant seem to find it in themselves to give credit where its due. The gasheads on her who usually give banter to you lot did when City got promoted. Doesnt seem to work both ways after all Tommy

What I love though is that some reds have came over here who have never came here before or hardly ever comes here and they were able to express there well wishes, which is nice of them.

I guess when you quote different fans you will get this. We have so many fans you will get a wide set of opinions. I guess it's easier to get consistency with a smaller fan base.
