Lamela has wanted a lot of the ball, and got it. Unfortunately he's dribbled it around aimlessly and made 3 yard passes to the likes of Eriksen whose been shut down instantly. It's been far too intricate with no conviction.

These are valuable lessons for the players and those looking at transfers...We know we need cover for dembele and for Alli as well as kane....to keep up our high pressing game we need a minimum of about 5 players imo
1-2 FT. Worst performance of the season? Started well, but fizzled out horribly. Really disappointing stuff. Some very poor individual efforts out there today.
I expect to see a couple of old hand MF players signed in the summer. There are not enough leaders (yet) in the current MF when it comes to the real business end of a PL challenge.
That's really not good enough. I can understand their disappointment, but that's totally unprofessional. Strolling around for an hour when people have paid good money to watch you is bloody poor. Doing it when the season's still got something on it is disgusting.
You miserable lot were right! Can't believe we didn't come out better in the second half. Too much slow, safe passing. Maybe the heat played a part, maybe we're just tiring, either way, Come on City!
