It seems our old friends at Plymouth Argyle are in real danger of going under. I know a link was posted to their online petition about a week ago on the BBC 606 board but I thought I'd post it here again for anyone who may have missed it. It is:

    http://www.gopetition.com/petition/42254.html

Basically, it calls on their leading shareholder, who is Japanese, to honour his promise to pump money into the club in order to save it.

Don't mind Plymouth as a club, can't say I'd go out of my way though to see them survive...

Tis a real shame for such an accommodating set of fans. Hope things turn round for them.

Slightly harsh. They are a fantastic club imo, the fans are brilliant, and the way the fans and the club treated us when we won the league was fantastic.

First of all they made a banner, huge banner, saying congratulations Newcastle which they walked towards the away end with.

We then won the league, with some resistance we were allowed to go on the pitch.

Their players were shaking hands of fans saying well done.

Plymouth fans clapped from the stands and some ran on the pitch to say well done.

Then they started playing NUFC songs over the sound system.

Also, my girlfriends uncle is a Plymouth fan who lives up here, has everything to do with Plymouth and goes to as many as he can, he would be heartbroken, I couldn't stand seeing him like that.

    SAVE THE GREEN ARMY!

Guys you need to save Shakhtar aswell! Our Chairman only has £7 Billion in the bank and the club is producing £130 million in turnover annually, the stadium is empty only 50000 there every week. Dig deep guys and give generously.

Just kidding, such a shame for the Green Army. Their fans are top notch, true passionate footballs fans who treat us well. They make the fans of this league look like..... Gimps, however, we' never saw real football supporters until we went to the Championship and Plymouth were pretty much top of the pile!
