I couldn't comment today using my Hull City signature - it would have been most inappropriate.
Doesn't it make you proud to be a Sunderland supporter after that momentous effort against Chelski.
One of the best games of soccer I have seen for a long while and after the second goal went in I felt that the supporters lifted the entire team towards the Chelski goal and willed the ball into the net for the winner. It's occasions like that that sets Sunderland supporters apart and above the norm.
Magnificent effort and well done the lads and on this occasion, if there was a vote for 'Man-of-the-Match' the Sunderland supporters would take out first place.
    A wonderful experience.

    Soccer. ****ing soccer.^^^^^^^^^.

Well SAFC, for once i'll let you off with this raging hangover i'm sadly struggling with.

Thiught it would be a quick night. Pop out for a few, half expecting us to get a twatting. Come home in a huff and say 'what a ****ing load of ****e'

Oh how wrong did i get that.<laugh>

Half past ****ing four, falling of a motorbike taxi and then navigating a lift, a corridor and im sure some **** had swapped locks on the door. Took me ages to figure out how to get in.

But it was all worth it. What a game. What a night. I could even kiss Sams fat ****ing head.

    Never again.

I've just risen after a late session of Premier League soccer. The early hou
Sorry mate, here in Oz its SOCCER as there is only ONE code of FOOTBALL here and that is Australian Rules Football. Hence Australia's National Team known as the SOCCEROO'S!
    Yes, magnificent game.

Ok, everyone here in a great mood, and why not. But, soccer is a British term, not a yank one. Just sayin'.

Here in Oz, Association Football has made wonderful progress in the 50 years I have been here and we are getting good gates now. It will be decades before we can establish support and passion like we witnessed yesterday at the Stadium of Light. The international games and 'Big Club' friendlies are attracting crowds of 80-odd thousand. However, Australian Rules Football (AFL) is, and always will be, the prominent game here. They own their stadiums and when Australia put in a bid for the World Cup they refused to move the start of their season (same month as the Cup) which would have caused a huge problem for the fixtures. There was talk of Government intervention at one stage.
The big TV Sports Talk-Back Shows disparagingly refer to 'Soccer' as "The Girls Game" and there was a book released referring to Soccer as "A game for Girls, Wogs and ****ters" so it will never become the Giant that AFL is and will always be known as 'Soccer' in Australia.

For this occasion I listened to the commentary and whoever it was was a carried away as the crowd and players. First time in a long time I was out of my chair twice, wife staggered in when we equalised to check on me as she thought I might have dozed off. Daern't tell her I had yelled out and jumped up.

The team and crowd were totally in sync driving each other on. Magic.

The support was magnificent yesterday. We need to repeat that on Wednesday and then maintain that level of noise next season.

At least you managed to get in the house, i slept on the balcony after locking myself out :( :( :( Full of drink and weed i had the stupid idea to go outside and watch the storm that was heading our way, the lightening is spectacular to watch out here. It was only after finishing another spliff and necking the remnants of a bottle of wine that i realised my mistake. Woke up on the balcony this morning bitten to **** by the local mosquito population, i now look like John Merrick :(
