Sam said we needed big wins in the last few weeks, well we got them against Man u (no win at the SOL against them before) Chelsea (had not beat them for about 15 years) so there you are.

**** off you plum. you skated allardyce on the mag board telling him he needed to change the team. We win a game and you come posting on our board? You're a dick.

We win. Allardyce got it spot on today. As did the players. How does the humble pie taste?

I also thought Sam did well with his substitutions today.
At 2-1 down he maybe thought weve lost this so took Kone n Kirchy off to save then for Wednesday, Worked a treat.

I think the big difference was moving Borini inside and having more of an attacking threat through the middle. Cattermole would never have got into the position that Borini did for the equsliser. Or been able to hit a shot like that.

I think a lot of us have been screaming out for more help for JD. JD, Fabio, Khasri n young Dunc looked lethal yesterday. Duncans pace, Khasri's wizardry, Fabios industry and JD prowess.
More of that on Wednesday please.

He simply went 442 when he made the subs at 2-1 down. Looked much more attacking. Borini dropped back slightly after we went ahead.

Hmm, Allardyce himself said that he moved Borini into the hole and his positioning for his goal would suggest to me that he was playing a 'number 10' role. But either way, its what we've needed fror a while

I think Borini should get a special mention.
The lad's always in the thick of it. He get lumps kicked out of him and spends lots of time half dazed on the grass after getting fouled.
You can't fault him for effort, he has the heart of a lion.

Borini's attitude and fight is a symbol of the spirit and attitude of the whole team at the moment, and what has been missing for so many years when half of our squad were only bothered about their pay packets and nights out on the pop. That current team spirit is worth an extra player on the pitch.

When Ranieri was asked about possibly losing players in the summer he replied that any player who came and asked to leave could leave. He only wanted players in his squad who wanted to be at the club. The implication being that trying to keep an unhappy player would do more to harm the team spirit than actually losing the player would.

I believe that, subject to the next couple of results going our way, we are on the verge of something that we haven't had in all my years supporting the club - a period of years where we are a comfortable mid-table side with the occasional cup-final appearance and flirtation with Europe.

Borini is a ****ing bright lad and he wants to be the best he can, always wants to contribute.

He's an asset, we are fortunate to have him. He's got some ability as well and he gets his man riled.

Agree with everything you say, but for me, there's a but....

    He doesn't score enough goals.

If we're still in the Premier League next season we need more than a goal a game, like we've done this season.

Yeah, remember though he has a few injuries early doors and got going late.

Solid pre season hit ground running he should get a few more. He will never be 15-20 a season of course.

And neither will Defoe for much longer.

There's no standing still in this league.

    Borini will never be prolific

Something i think why did we buy him.

But he's a grafter and we like grafters. Plus he takes a mean pen.

Im liking him more and more. Plus his missus is hot as ****.

We do need to deal with the reality that we have to be planning for after Defoe.

Strikers like him are hard to find we need his replacement before he fades not frantically searching after as per usual!

I'd love us to try for Carroll like he's a beast of a striker.

Couldn't agree more mate. Both unplayable in their own way on their day.

Sam likes Carroll so who knows.
