42 points better off than they were a year ago. That's seriously impressive.

Agreed. Newcastle, for example, deserve everything that comes to them for sacking him.

I do as well but I was pretty disgusted with the treatment Gaston got today from the Brighton players.

Great restraint from the crowd, most of our numpties would have been on pitch!

Andy King becomes the only current player in history to win League One, Championship and Premier League medals for the same team, if I am not mistaken.

I think a day like this for Saints would lead to me croaking it!

Ranieri stopping the traditional team photo with the trophy while he runs to get the owner and the chairman to join in.

Class act and a lovely bloke, it seems.

Nigel Pearson must feel a bit like Pete Best though, it's basically the same squad that he won the last six games of last season with.

Am I right in saying that Dyer becomes the third player to win the PL post playing for us? Or can you think of more?

And this is fantastic vindication. I can remember people saying that Ranieri was too nice for his (and his teams') good, that he lacked the steel and intensity to win anything. Yeah, about that.

I just watched it and delighted he sang Con te partiro. I may work in music, but it really makes my opinion no more valid than anyone else - but I really think that song is one of the most emotive and beautiful tracks ever written. If anyone hasn't heard it, please check it out on YouTube or whatever (not the Leicester version, just the song). It really is stunning.

Shearer and Flowers with Blackburn the two you're thinking of? Only ones I can remember off the top of my head.

Shearer and Bridge. Forgot Flowers. So we're up to four.
