pfft. I'm a bigot, I believe racism has no place in a world based on decent human standards and I'm intolerant towards anyone who thinks otherwise.
You may scoff, and though I don't claim to be automatically superior to anyone (apart from maybe scousers and Man City scallies), I reckon I'm far from clueless as you claimed. Racism can sometimes have a place. For example, terrorist investigations tend to focus more on certain races, and for good reason. Also, certain ethnic minorities are "stop and searched" by police more, because statistically they are known to be more likely to be carrying weapons or drugs. In some cultures, the age of consent is lower than it is in this country. Hence some foreign people think there is nothing wrong with having sex with a thirteen year-old. Hence I'll be less inclined to let my daughter go out with an older man of such a culture when she enters her teens. There are plans in place to set up a "traveller" camp a mile from my house. If the plans are approved, I'll certainly be more careful about locking my car at night. There are all kinds of ways that prejudices can be sensible.

That's a bit of an excpetion really though isn't it? When did I say over the age of consent? Plus you've only actually taken issue with 2 out of 5 of my points, which is pretty good for a hardliner like you. And how exactly am I "****ed"? Just because you say so?
WOW: I go to bed for a few hours and then get up to this....I'm not going to go too deep into this as I don't want to re-stir the hornets next so to speak..What I will say to the posters who made the derogatory remarks which caused the backlash is to please try and look at the bigger picture rather than the trouble in your local communities...Yes there are most certainly areas in this country where communities are seperated on the basis of race and religion in what could be simplified as a 'birds of a feather stick together' synopsis. However, this alone does not necessarily mean there will be trouble between communities, and you inevitably find that other issues such as economic deprevation and high unemployment are also underlying factors where trouble occurs. I certainly don't have all the answers to these problems (who does!), but I'm quite sure that describing large numbers of an ethnic community in a generic and negative fashion is not the way forward... On a side note which for me highlights the difficulties of what is and what is not classed as racist, would anyone have batted an eyelid if a poster had referred to an Australian as an Aussie? It's a complex world we live in at present which is very fluid in what is and what is not acceptable language.

To be fair, the way your post scanned it sounded like you were saying it would be okay for a white adult to date your 13 year old daughter but not an adult male of foreign extraction.
