Absolutely. But if you're in a scrap, there's nobody better (then get rid of him when you stay up).

I bet the Newcastle fans now wish they had Big Sam back at the start of the season rather than that brolly wally.

Signing some decent players has helped as well (and to be fair, Big Sam plays his part in that).

Delighted for Sunderland, and even more so for beating the most 'orrible lot in the PL!! Great to know that Saints will finish above the 2nd or 3rd most expensive side in the PL. I can only think of both the Manchester clubs that may have spent more.

On another note, I hope Hodgson takes Defoe to the Euros as he has almost single handedly given Sunderland a fighting chance of staying in the PL. Who are the candidates ahead of him? OK Vardy, Kane, Rooney and probably Wellbeck and Sturridge, who IMO should spend the summer fully recovering from his niggling injuries, and owes his employers, Liverpool, more than he owes England.

Today's results could nudge Chelsea to the bottom of this graph, making them the worst team ever in the Premier League.

You really have gone polarised on the Ides. ;)

As a balance, I have no problems at all with Chelsea. Probably the one London club which I can say I have a positive feeling for. Historically, I've always had a bit of a problem with Spurs, but they built on that feeling in recent years. Talent poachers from us, big time. And don't tell me that talent wanted to leave - I don't care. ;)
For me, Spurs almost reach Arsenal levels of dislike these days.

Interesting to note that you dislike Arsenal the most. With Chelsea it is their fans!!!!! Anyhow enough about them, how about Defoe for England???

I never include fans in my assessment. I don't know them, so there's no point. Arsenal I dislike the most because they have historically been relegated and were voted back into the top league by bungs. So they've cheated.

Unless Bournemouth stump up the cash for his (Terry's) considerable wage. Might be worth it as his wages will be more than covered by the new PL deal.

If the bottom three stays as it is, all three have history of bouncing back quickly. I would put money on Norwich and Newcastle to be the top two next season.

Everton look as though they might be in for an absolute hammering. 2-0 but could be 5-0. I'm expecting 4 or 5-0 by the end.

Amazing stuff at Leicester. Always loved Bocelli - and Ranieri seems the most brilliant guy.

They are cruising this game - Everton look a mess - and Martinez looks a dead man walking.

What's the odds on Terry still turning up in his full kit for his farewell game at Stamford Bridge?

Do you think Everton will wait until after the last game before saying "Adios Roberto?"
