    Another decent day for punting.

    Lingfield
    3.25 Mountain Bell 2-1

Bet of the day - won by 10 lengths first time out and looks to have any amount of potential in him.

    4.35 Winter house 6-4
Once raced and then injured. That one race however was the 2015 Wood Ditton in which he beat a good field. Should he have retained his initial ability he should be way too good for this lot.

    Ascot
    2.30 Sign of Victory 5-2

This one will wonder where all the hurdles have gone but a mark of 88 on the flat could prove very lenient. I suspect Barneys buddy may be looking to get him raised a few pounds to have a go at something bigger at the track in June.

    4.15 Predominance 8-1
Didn't fire in the Silver cup on Lincoln day but made no mistake next time and looked as though there was more to come, at the price I will take the chance.

6.20 at Warwick Virgilio looks to be a good bet to me at 7/4

Real funny couple of Lingfield trials to work out but in the Oaks trial I like Capricious Cantor 12/1 who was green last time when veering but still had enough talent to win and if stepping forward again might grab herself an Epsom ticket.

Stephens equalizes for Brighton then sees a straight red for one of the worst challenges I have ever seen. He was still protesting his innocence when they showed him the 6 inch gash his stud made in the shin of the Boro player <doh>

Really poor tackle, he knew what he was at too with them having a run in just 2 minutes prior. Possibly cost Brighton a stint in the PL. Not much opposition in the play offs anyway <whistle>

Did you actually think that was a red card? I thought it was harsh. Booking for having studs up yeah but he got to ball first, think they might have that overturned if they appeal I don't think it was a straight red

A few inches higher and he's caught the knee and ended the blokes career. Downright dangerous in my book Smokey

I'm not saying he didn't catch him but there was no malice in it, he didn't go flying in to the challenge and he got the ball but had his studs a bit high, I just thought straight red was bit harsh. On the plus side is much rather play Brighton than Boro in Play offs so I'm not complaining too much!
