I don't have a handicap but think it wouldn't be bad if I could be bothere to get one. I should improve though as I'll be able to hone my skills at St Andrews from September 'til May . Quick question for everyone, am I mistaken in thinking we're the only group of supporters with female members? (settle down, you know what I mean)
Have you heard: 1. About the three trialists? 2. About the 2 "rather talented" mystery midfielders who are supposedly signing, one of whon can also play up front?
I've checked the web briefly most days so I'm fairly up to date... 1. Jlloyd Samuel, Bzazazazszar Bodor, Isiah Osbourne 2. I did read that in the Square Ball's YR write-up Perhaps we'll see these new midfield fellows for the Newcastle friendly. They'd better be bloody good. Trialists don't sound worthwhile from what little I've heard about their friendly performances.
Actually the 3rd trialist is Alexandre Mendy. Jlloyd Samuel got injured after 1 game and was sent away. Not sure about Osbourne, but Bodor and Mendy seem good.
Bodor was shocking against BPA on Weds night. If he ever puts on our shirt again then SG needs to sort himself out. Mendy is quality, defo should be signed up asap. TOM
Yes Phil! You ok pal? I like the look of Mendy, agree with that but would give the other two a miss as well. He's very versatile isn't he as well? could prove useful!
Not bad mate, gonna go home in 5 mins I think so thats even better! Think he can play wide or up front but has obvious quality. Think Kebe of Reading and you get the picture. Osbourne didn`t look too bad at Rochdale, def worth another gander anyway. Samuel and Baldazer first bus out of ER though, really not up to the job. Unfortunately Lonergan didn`t look all that on Weds either. First attempted punched clearance he sliced to himself, then he let in a saveable low shot from 20 yards from a non-league player. Made a couple of saves but def not out of this world.
