So assuming there are no changes in the goalkeepers at the club and they are all fit, who do you think will start next season?

You could make a case for any of the 3 but I think, whoever is in charge next season will probably revert back to Krul as the number 1

I think that with Elliot being injured still during pre season. We will factor in his return and sell Krul if we get a good offer of say 10mill upwards. Therefore Darlow is my pick.

It could well be Krul but I'd probably sell him

Elliot will be months away with that injury next season. Start with Krul probably but it depends on his injury too. So maybe it will be Darlow.? God knows... If we go down, Darlow for definite, blood him in the Championship for promotion next season..

Krul has been off form for a while, and the other 2 have really stepped up, time for Krul to go.

Unless he is sold/ we are relegated it will be Tim Krul starting for sure next season depending if he gets a full pre season under his belt.

I think the performances of Darlow and Elliot will force him to up his game next season and in terms of a goalkeeper at 28 years old he will be about to hit his peak as a professional so I hope he stays with Elliot as (solid) backup and cup keeper and loan out Darlow to a newly promoted EPL team/promotion pushing championship side next year so he can continue his development.

If we are relegated Krul will go and Darlow will start the season and Elliot to come back in around xmas time.

Sorry lads but Elliot with Darlow as backup.

Tims got in my tits with his pingy left flank clearances into level 7.

    Time to move on.

Sell Krul and incest in a CB.

Recent form and long term injuries mean Krul unlikely to be in big demand so may well still be here relegation or not therefore likely to be no 1. Elliott fighting Darlow for no 2 but not until nearly Xmas when fully fit and match fit again. Very much hoping something sorted to keep woodman and loan him out again as he looks most likely to be no 1 standard in a couple of years

If Krul can fetch decent money then I wouldn't be opposed to selling him. It would be difficult to keep 3 good keepers contented so one of them would end up going anyway.

Kruls getting the votes, but not the comments....

Krul has been **** for 3 seasons now.... He has not stepped up.

Darlow looks like he wants it,.......

Elliott bless him did well but lets not kid ourselves, we are in relegation ****e!

So for me.... its a case of Darlow...Elliott.... and then Krul

Rafa loves a keeper who is good with his feet. Think Krul could well be moved on. Don't know what the other 2 are like distribution wise, but Rafa might be looking to bring in his own.

Krul has 1 year left on his contract so talk of a £10m move is highly unlikely although it is surely crunch time in terms of a new deal or selling on. He may well be cashed in on for c. £5m and there will be cries of how we are giving away players for buttons again.

I had thought Elliott was out of contract at the end of the season but there seems to be some confusion about whether he signed a new contract. I think if his contract is up he'd be offered a new one and Krul moved on.

One thing needs to be said, though. The criticism of Krul's 'lack of development' really needs to be tempered with the acknowledgement that he has been playing behind one of the worst defences the Premier League has ever known.

Darlow just as long as they let him know where they are going to kick the ball

Karl Darlow looks a good shot stopper who commands his box well and does have a good leap on him to boot. Rob Elliot is a reliable and fairly rounded keeper and Tim Krul would fetch a much bigger transfer fee than he's worth imo.

From who? I can't see any Prem team wanting him. Maybe a couple of foreign teams I guess but they don't tend to pay over the odds (unless he's off to china?)

Well Krul won't be here next season so that makes the decision somewhat simpler, however Elliot and Darlow have been exemplary, considering the shower of ****e that they've been playing behind all season!
