Definitely recommend it. Always some right good stories to tell from it. Great if you've got a group of lads on a stag or something similar.
Being in my mid fifties I will not be going on too many stags. However, i'm game for owt and will give it a go sometime..
There have been no deaths reported in this thread (as yet) so I can only assume that there was nobody brave enough to try the "Bronco Shag" last night! For those of you lacking something in your love life I can assure you that this is the ultimate in 'bringing the magic back' - if you survive!
Been there as well mate, it's a right **** hole and the locals are worse than nigerians and a bunch of lazy ****s as well. Even all the coppers are bent as ****, in fact i got stopped by a copper out there and demanded money to let me 'go to a bar that was in his sector'???? he got **** all and i still managed to get to the bar. $10 a beer and $50 for a scabby cheese pizza, robbing ****s.
I'm not hard mate, far from it, just ****ing daft i suppose. I come out here cos there's **** all else back home, the North Sea is dead, the middle east is all ****ed up and you have to do long trips for **** money. Here i get to work 6 months of the year and 6 months at home, i love it. I've been coming here on and off for the last 20 years and i started when the place wasn't as ****ed up as it is now so i guess i'm just sort of used to it all now. It's been a massive education and i've literally seen all kinds of **** that i would never have got the chance to see back home. I've had a few dodgie moments as well like but on the whole i enjoy my job and will keep coming out here for as long as they'll have me. I'm a big believer that you can find trouble in every town or city in the world if you're that way inclined and here is no different, but keep your wits about you and it's not that bad.
They've probably got the Portuguese to thank for their manners. I'd love to do the east-west trip through Congo et al, but it sounds too perilous - and not the real wildlife. the human wildlife. So are you in Lagos or in some remote spot ?
I'm in a place called Eket but visit Lagos regularly, it's a **** hole tbh but there's an island off Lagos called Victoria Island and that's more up market and pretty decent.
I met up with cest today and he has been considering posting on here again... He is a canny lad and his young daughter is great as well..Proper little smiler..
