The draw for qualifying takes place tomorrow in Brazil. Who would you like in your countries group?

Personally, i'd like to see England, Republic of Ireland, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland in the same group.

I'd really struggle if Germany, Argentina and Scotland were in the same group. The only satisfactory outcome is punch-ups in all games and all three teams banned.

We are in the sixth pot for this draw. Oh the shame.

I don't see how we've managed that, our squad is actually quite good compared to Northern Ireland, yet we're about 2 or 3 pots under them.

The Republic of Ireland can end up in the same group as England.
An ideal group for the Republic of Ireland would contain England and France for two reasons,we could prove that we're better than England at everything as we beat them this year at Cricket and Rugby and could complete the hat-trick by beating them at football. We have to get revenge on France after Henrys hand-ball.

It'd be nice if expectation was lowered but once the tabs kick into gear it'll all pan out as per usual.

I'm talking about Wales !<laugh> There's hardly any expectation in Wales, we'd be surprised if we won a game.

It's just amazing that we are that high. Knowing FIFA, we will start doing well and they will rank us down!

Well your england in all honesty id rank you about 10th in the world but it england is one of the biggest names in football, as not only did they create the sport they've always been one of the top 15 clubs in the world. so i guess that pushes you up a couple of rankings, also and i dont mean no offense alot of your players are overrated XD.

Personally i dont mind who portugal get, we always make it difficult for ourselves in the qualifiers but always kinda pick it up in the world cup ( bar last year carlos queiroz is a ****** ). im pretty confident we'll qualify, but like always we'll make it hard.

We have been playing really well lately though so if we can continue this form till 2014 ( yeah lolz not going to happen ) we'll be okay.

I hope you beat the French.

You beat a young English rugby team though. It will only get better, and I still belive when it comes to the chase we will do better than you. Even at your peak around the Grand Slam you still folded in the World Cup. With a poor side we came second.

Cricket was a great win for you guys. In a 5 day test you've no chance.

We're poor at football, but I still expect up to beat the other home nations.

    Completely agree.

On another point I can't believe we are ranked so low in the world ranking. Do they not realise we just held the mighty Switzerland to a draw at Wembeley ?

I dont care,Brazil's heat would make England's chance's of having a succesful tournament closer to zero.Brazil's prices are dead expensive and over priced so I find the idea of
travelling there to get ripped off or killed less than appealing.

Bring on 2022 and swap the word killed for arrested for being an England fan in an arab country and everything else is the same.

As for Russia I here they have alreay booked their place in the final for 2018.

So please, every England fan, write off international football for the next ten years unless you dont have enough sadness and disappointment in your life already!:emoticon-0150-hands

Irelands problem in rugby is the scrum,I don't think we win enough balls, however we have enough pace out wide thats as good as Wales and the French.I think England lacked that since Robinson..,Jesus he was the fastest thing on two legs...only that Welsh guy came close.
As for Cricket, more than likely, after your win against India you must currently be the best in the world.
As for the home nations,I'm not entirely sure,on paper yes,but football isn't won on paper,we'll give as good as we get,and don't forget Northern Ireland made you look like Wales recently.

That was a few years ago mate, but I do agree you never know. Especialy with our football team.

I prefer international rugby to football in recent years if i'm honest. There is just never good international games anymore.

Pack the midfield and thats it. Two realy poor world cups in a row.

Six Nations and RWC are however brilliant. Always help when you're doing well too.

The last time the Republic of Ireland and England met in any sort of game was in 1995 in Landsdowne Road when English fans tore out seats and started chucking them all over the place.
I know people that were called ''Fenian Bastards''.I'm not tarring them all with the one brush as I know loads of lovely English people, but thats disgraceful.

Can't remember his name,I think he played for Wales when they won the Grand Slam in 2005,This fella was a speed merchant, even faster than Irelands Paul O Connell and Brian O Driscoll.
