Intriguing is the word. My heart and my head says Khan hasn't got a hope - but he has gone up in my estimation for daring to take this fight.

I can't see him surpassing the 4th. He'll win in the second now.

I think you boys could be right. It's the classic boxer vs puncher match up, and I'd dearly love to see Khan do it.

He needs to box and move for a full 12 rounds. He must get himself in range to land his shots before getting the hell out of there. He can't affort to remain in the pocket and trade with Alvarez...!!

Khan is well capable of doing just that but I fear that at some point he won't be able to resist having a tear up with Alvarez, and that's when he'll be taken out.

I'm hoping that a little extra maturity and Virgil Hunter's coaching will ensure Khan boxes to a game plan from bell to bell.

Either way it's guna be a cracker and I can't wait to watch it.

With Khans notoriously poor chin I'm surprised his camp let him take the fight. I'd love to know how it all came about - you just feel he must have a plan somewhere.

So much for Khan avoiding Kell Brook eh...Khan doesn't have many easy fights constantly fights top level fighters really hope he can pull it off.
Will have to be on the move for 12 rds and get inside his head like LeonRd did to Duran all those years ago

He's got the speed and no question marks over stamina so moving for 12 rounds won't be a problem - but you just feel one punch will do it.

Looking forward to it more than charlton.

    Bang on Mike <applause>

I like Brook but he's not fought anywhere near the calibre of opponent as Khan. In fairness to him it's not really his fault and he can only beat what'sput in front of him . I lay the blame squarely at Matchroom's feet.

Brook desperately needs a big name and soon...!!

No doubt he can, but will he...?

He has a tendancy to box beautifully to a plan then all of a sudden he momentarily switches off and stays flat footed in the pocket too long and gets nailed.

It cost him against Danny Garcia who's ears he boxed off before he got stopped, and it almost cost him against Marcos Maidana.

All adds to the excitement when Khan fights

Khan going up two divisions against a fighter who has lost just once (against Mayweather on a majority decision) in 48 fights? Umm let me think.... first four rounds Alvarez will land 3 or 4 body shots which will take the spring out of Khan's legs and bring his guard down 3 or 4 inches...one to Khan's chin then the 'Goodnight' right... I'm guessing a plucky Khan will be out in the 9th or 10th. However, Khan's 'weigh in' babe was absolutely gorgeous

Majority decision... an utter disgrace. Mayweather made Alvarez look rank average in that fight. Alvarez couldn't hit Mayweather even if he had a handful of sand...!!

This is a nothing to lose fight for Khan. Nobody gives him a prayer because all the cards are stacked in favour of Alvarez. Win or lose his stock has risen just for having the bo!!ocks to take this fight.

Will Khan's speed carry at the heavier weight...?

Will the additional weight slow his feet down...?

Can he box and move to a plan for a full 12 rounds...?

If/when Alvarez catches him will his suspect chin hold up (I don't buy into this business of a weak chin. The shots he's been dropped with were straight from hell and would take out anyone)...?

Can Alvarez deal with Khan's speed and shut the ring off enough to pin Khan down...?

Will Khan dance round Alvarez making him look slow and ponderous as Mayweather did...?

Alvarez is heavy heavy favourite. Is he taking the Khan challenge lightly...?

Enough questions to make us tune in :emoticon-0105-wink:

I'll be here as well, assuming the Glenmorangie doesn't get the better of me. Failing that I will look through my old fancy dress outfits - there must be some cocaine floating about from my party days. Hopefully it kills me.
