I wouldn't want Duchatelet to appoint anyone competent, I'd hate to see him succeed in any way. He's pissed me off to the point that I don't care about the club or the players. I'd rather Charlton fall out of the football league than him enjoy any level of success. If we had a normal bad owner I imagine I could get over the owner and support/like the team, but with Duchatacunt, the club has become an extension of him, right through to the puppets and mercenaries that play/"run" the club. Promotion next year (however unlikely) will kill the protests and the smug prick will get another stay of execution. Then we will lose a couple of games, the manager will be sacked, mass protests will start again and on and on the circus will go. I'm saving up money for the day he does die, I'll be so drunk I won't be able to see.
Chris Wilder is being touted. Right direction but will not work. Not unless they get rid of all these crap players they sign, and RD buggers off
According to Wiki Wilder played 3 gameson loan for us Dows he have a Twitter account...? Could beca good time to enlighten him of the goings on at the circus.
Yes I remember he was on loan from sheff Utd at the time I think ...better manager than player I'd guess. Why leave Northampton a club on the up for the car crash that is cafc he'd be mad
Rich Cawley is Tweeting about Chris Wilder, but then again I think Creepy Cawley is a Meire stooge. He has bought her bullshit before. Could it be possible that the Wilder story has been timed to head off anger at the Burnley game tomorrow? And if it is true, what a classy way to treat Riga who still has 12 months left on his contract. To Meire, contracts are like pie crusts, made to be broken.
Probably correct there, wouldn't be the first time Cawley is used by The Circus. Then again, maybe you've spent too much time at the Palace of Westminster. They'll get shown up when Roland appoints another stooge (in the middle of the Euros).
Difficult not to feel sorry for Riga in the circumstances, the second time in barely two years he has been sawn off by Duchatelet and Meire. He is 59 now and surely must learn a lesson from this - stand on your own two feet man, and get jobs on your own merits.
So Riga resigned at full time today It is a mark of how little impact he made second time around that it has created barely a ripple on social media. I did chuckle when I saw Jose's little dig today about "interference"- this from the man who has taken Duchatelet's money 4 times.
Doesn't suggest to me that anyone near power at the Valley has 'learnt from their mistakes'. Lennie Lawrence was apparently not keen on what was on offer. Riga said repeatedly that he would stay if he was allowed to pick players and make signings. That he has resigned tells a tale. Anyone taking up the head coach role at the Valley should demand unlimited vaseline. Roland will be giving it to them from behind.
They all moan about Roland after they've left, Luzon, Millwall Bob as well. Some learn the easy way some have to learn the hard way.
Present odds to replace Riga- Chris Wilder 1/8 Vignjevic... 13/2 SCP....8/1 Jase and Dougie Freedman.....14/1 My money's on Vignjevic.
I'm very tempted to put a big bet on the Hungarian - very good odds, knowing my luck it will end up being the bloke from Truiden.
