I really hope they are made illegal. I really don't need another thing holding me up at the airport four times a month. They're introduing x-ray machines for your bags offshore now, which is a ****ing pain. What the **** would I be taking from offshore that means I need by bag x-rayed again. Taking safety too far now. Some guy told me to have a shave last trip because my stubble could cause a spark in a hazardous area. Told him to **** off or report me to the safety rep. ****ing fanny

that's ****ing ridiculous! i get told off for walking in front of dishes when their transmitting as its microwaves, i always say if it was that bad you'd have to fence the ****er off. plus no doubt all the radios and electronic counter measures from iraq/afghan probably mean i'd riddled with cancer already anyway peoples **** is weak
I remember the good old days, when you would swipe any unattended bag at the airport/train station - ****in result but thanks to the ****ing ragheads and provos, that became a thing of the past
the only thing that ever pissed me off about the terrorist threat in this country was the lack of bins in some airports/train stations. i'll be stumbling around an airport looking for somewhere to put my corneto wrapper and all i can think is "we should've just binned the ****s in 1916"
Goes to show you how PC Britain has become in the last decade or so. Back when I was a kid and we travelled to the main land we used to get searched all over the ****in place. My dad's car was taken apart about 100 times in Liverpool and Stranraer looking for weapons. The conservatives were even publically considering requesting that all Irish people on the main land register with their local police station. Even in the late 90's I used to get held up flying into Belfast because I held an Irish and not British passport. And the thing is we accepted it because we knew that we were much more likely to be a terrorist than say a black guy with an English accent. Now you can't stop any blacks or asians because of suspected racism when it was perfectly fine not so long ago to do it to white people.
Why is it degrading to disabled people more so than other people? What a stupid ****ing arguement. From what I can tell the scanners would do **** all anyway, if it xrays through your clothes you could quite easily make explosive parts invisible on the scanners.
The thing is you don't carry a big bomb on board, its several parts of the bomb which you put together to make it explosive on the plane. A little part here, little part there would not show up as the scanners aren't that clear. If they did ask about the black dot in my body I'd call them insensitive bastards for pointing out my lung cancer & make a big scene.
