... you said Ranieri didn't do that well at Chelsea considering the resources he had ... I merely pointed out that you were wrong ... as 99% of Chelsea fans would too ... you then went off on various tangents including the re-writing of history <laugh>

    Lampard on Ranieri:

“I owe him everything,” the former England international told the Mirror. “If it wasn’t for Claudio, I wouldn’t have had the career I had. I wouldn’t still be playing, probably. He changed my career. I was at West Ham and I was a youngster who didn’t know the continental style and the way to live my life.

“I remember going to his house and signing for Chelsea. He took me in and told me how he could improve my game and how I’d fit in at a club the size of Chelsea. In the second year, we beat Arsenal in the Champions League – the Invincibles team – to get into the semis. It was a good year. He knew he was leaving, but he handled it with such dignity.

“He helped me improve, especially defensively. I love him. He made John Terry captain at a young age. No one had a bad word to say about Claudio at Chelsea. He carries himself really well – the way he speaks, the way he deals with situations.

“He has a well-travelled career, but he’s always carried himself with dignity, always learned as a manager.”

Spent the most money in English football history, won fook all. Was sacked. Which part that i said was wrong?

Oh I see you've added another bit:
Some nice quotes there. Maybe ask Frank to get his medals out that he won under Claudio.

Seems Frank likes to talk a lot...

FRANK LAMPARD believes Jose Mourinho is the best manager he has ever worked with.

On the eve of what could be his final game for Chelsea, Lamps hailed the Special One who is poised for a Stamford Bridge return this summer.

The record-breaking midfielder said: “For me, Jose was the best.

“He was the first manager I came across to have a particular way.

“He knew whether a player needed a leg-up or a rollocking.

“He formed a spirit among the team that was formidable. We didn’t have a group mentality to win the league but he brought that in.

“And we have seen the same thing happening for him at Inter Milan and with his Real Madrid team.”

Mourinho was so impressive that Lampard even considered joining him in Italy.

The 34-year-old added: “The closest I ever came to leaving was Inter Milan with Jose in 2008.

“The idea of challenging myself to something different and going with a manager who was such an influence on my career really appealed.

“But in the end I wanted to stay for personal reasons, because of my mum, and also because of the attachment I have to Chelsea.”

He acheived Chelsea's best league placing in 49 years and broke club records for fewest goals conceded and highest points total in a season ...

... but you are right he was crap at Chelsea ... <laugh> ...

... but even the biggest bell end should be able to see that without the player that Lampard became (and he credits Ranieri for that) along with Joe Cole and John Terrry, who both got their chances under Ranieri ... Chelsea would not have had the success they had under Mourinho ...

... strange that Frank Lampard doesn't mention Jose Mourinho as developing him don't you think? ... oops my bad ... of course you don't think ...<laugh>

Youre good at reading Wiki arent you? Course he had their best finish ever - he spent the most money ever. Much more than any other ****ing club. And then got sacked because he should have won the league. Like they did the following 2 seasons.

    did you miss this bit?

FRANK LAMPARD believes Jose Mourinho is the best manager he has ever worked with.

What ever he was or he wasn't, he seems to have used the experience to achieve what he has this year, which is by anyone's standards, a truly remarkable achievement.

And that's precisely why i said his story is more remarkable than that of Vardy or Mahrez and that he deserves his own film.

... so only the best manager that Frank Lampard ever worked with has eclipsed Ranieri's tenusre at Chelsea then? ... and was lucky enough to inherit the fabulous squad built by Ranieri ... indeed he managed to get them to finish one place higher than Ranieri had ...

... so I think we can now all agree that Ranieri didn't 'under acheive' at Chelsea ... he set them on the road to their most successful period in their history ... and lest we forget ... Jose Mourinho didn't actually win the Champions League with Chelsea ...

We dont agree that at all, why do you think we agree? He spent the most money in history and won fook all. And it was the most successful period in Chelsea's history cos they sacked Ranieri and hired a better manager. Before this season Ranieri had never won a league title. He left Chelsea and then they won it twice on the trot. Work that one out. Oh yeah, it was cos of the work by the previous manager...

And using your logic Di Matteo won it because of the fantastic squad built by previous managers.

... spent the most money in history? really? ... if that were true, then Mourinho therefore inherited the most expensive squad in history ... lucky boy...and still couldn't win the Champions League <laugh> ... surprised they didn't sack him ... oh wait! <laugh>

<laugh> ... would you say that in not winning the Champions League at Chelsea, Jose Mourinho under-acheived? ... be interesting to get your perspective ...

No he didnt underachieve. He won eight more trophies as manager of Chelsea than Ranieri did.

Glad I could help you out with this.

... but surely ... given that he inherited the most expensive squad ever assembled (by your own admission), then spending even more ....not winning the Champions League must be seen as under achieving?

When I said 'the most expensive squad' we were talking about winning the Premier League. I didnt mean it was the most expensive in Europe.

    **** me sideways eh?

But going on your logic then - why didn't Ranieri win the Champions league OR ANYTHING ****ING ELSE?

... he's just won the Premier League with a squad costing a fraction of the one's that Jose had at Chelsea ...says it all.

... as for the sideways thing ... no thanks ... must be a crab thing <laugh>
