And have a few thoughts about the match. It seems that everyones comments about De Ridder aren't overhyped and he actually was very impressive, for that to be his first match with the rest of the squad, he was brilliant. He seemed as though he had been with us for years, showed great vision and he has a hell of a cross on him!

Another thing, i'm not sure if it's just the new kit but dosen't anyone else think Lambert looks a bit leaner so to speak? He looked a bit more chunky last year and i always thought he didn't look 100% in a few games. Just a thought, maybe he's had an extra good pre-season. Adkins said he was in the best condition of his life, so hopefully he's well up for this season.

And just thought people would like to know Four Four Two has predicted us to finish 10th this season.... above Pompey.

I agree about Lambert, also Hammond as well. The whole squad look in good shape, which is a great sign going into the start of the season

Loking at those predictions agree with West Ham who will be right up there but sceptical about Leicester. They have spent big and as we have seen many times teams don't just gell. Lots of pressure on Sven and could go very wrong for them. I hope they are wrong about us and we make the playoffs at least!
