Great performance and great result. Did everything required. But Villarreal was so poor. They couldn't cope with the occasion and the atmosphere. They just didn't get going. Bring on Sevilla!!!
Amazed at how we kept up the pressure and work rate for the whole game. I thought we'd fade by 60/70 and let them in with a few chances, although them going down to 10 probably helped. Cannot fault any player, they were superb! That said, special mention to Milner who was phenomenal throughout and Can was impressive too.
he is what he is, and, if everyone is fit, the only one I'd swap him for would be a fit Aguero, and that includes Vardy and Kane.
