The %'s are smoke and mirrors , Suarez is a monster football player .
If you score an abundance of goals as a team , you're chances of keeping up a % of those goals seems unrealistic .
How many assists did each player have in the two scenarios ?
Suarez was the only reason Liverpool got close , Kane played a big part .

Suarez had 13 assists so was involved in 44 of 101 goals ie 44%
Kane has 3 assists so has been involved in 28 of 67 goals ie 42%

Not really a massive difference is it?

Also, surely if a team scores an abundance of goals (so many that despite being a one man team, the one man isn't involved in over half of them) it suggests that the rest of the squad made a significant contribution!

Then there is the plays that % doesn't involve , you just can't tally the intangibles that players like Suraz , Messi and Ronaldo bring a team . Check out their " % " and if they are not as good as Kane's , what are you saying ?

The only thing I'm saying is that Liverpool weren't a one man team in 2013/14. I think that's bullshit.

They had the best player in the league playing for them but they weren't a one man team.

That one man team navigated the first 6 games of the season as a no man team pretty well!

Suarez was a standout player that season and his skills often overshadowed others on the pitch that contributed to games in which he looked superb.
The stats show we weren't totally reliable on him and show 22 of his goals were assisted, probably by himself eh.<whistle>

Suarez made Rodgers look good , Liverpool didn't know how big Suarez was to the club till they let him go .
It's been a hard road back but I think Klopp will get you going forward next season in the League .
Liverpool will have as good a chance as any IMO to take it next season .... Not saying they will , only that they seem back on track since Klopp .

I ain't doubting his importance to us and his departure having an apocalyptic effect on us, I'm just saying that in his last season he wasn't the only player that contributed to our 2nd place failure.
During that season he dictated the game plan and tactics, Brendan just let him get on with it.
He benefitted more from Suarez's contribution than anyone, he's now got "manager of the year 2013-14" on his CV and he got a massive pay rise.<laugh>

    @NowsufferinginSpain

We knew he was world class mate, we told everyone he was <laugh> (i did anyway) haters called him a flat track bully if i remember rightly, it was clear for anyone with two eyes he was even then a world class player and some.

going to barca has just confirmed that 10fold

    You have played 15 prem matches since he went...won 5 drew 8 lost 2... 23 points...approx 1.5 pts per gam...over 38 games that makes 57 points...how is that top 4 form?
We sell players only if they demand to go and even then we have not sold to another English club since 2008.
You offered £40m for Modric but did not get him...if we were a selling club you would have got him.
If we get CL football next year we will keep our players ... if we don't they will leave.
The same can be said of Chelsea too...if you fail next season who will want to stay and who will join with no CL football...you will get players this window as they will see it as a one off but that aint necessarily the case.

Their manager deserves abuse, he is keeping the club down with his pre historic bullshit.
We have seen with Spurs what difference a good manager can make to a team.
Arsenal need to ditch that ****rag.
