This article will make some fans fume till they're red faced, and others may well believe it, Whether you believe the article or not, for whatever reason, it seems that a lot of fans are happy with the new season ticket deal, including, apparently, new Leeds united fan applications. Looks like Cellino's offer was a good idea. http://www.insidefutbol.com/2016/05...ncrease-in-early-season-ticket-sales/284087/?
Also, the signs are pointing to Evans leaving at end of season. http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2016/05/0...ans-becomes-odds-on-favourite-to-land/page/1/
Don't believe professional liars IE. polititions, public relations and anyone speaking on behalf of Leeds United
Rae season tickets... Doesn't prove anything. The scam (scheme) has only brought forward sales that would have been made anyway, only difference is there is a liability on the club for every one sold. If the corrupt twat started delivering on his big promise by showing some a y'all intent he should be able to shift 20,000 season tickets. He won't, so he won't. Time to go Massimo.
Not stating this as gospel but... I thought I remembered complaints about season ticket prices not being released or not being for sale this time last year? EDIT Ignore that, found a link that shows they were on sale http://www.leedsunited.com/news/art...26lt/title/201516-season-tickets-price-freeze
No ones saying it isn't a good idea, just many believe he will renage on it as he has on many other deals.
I am saying it's not a good idea... It's just a scam to sort cellinos short term cash flow problem... Honouring it next May will undermine our transfer policy next close season.....
Every fan saw through Bates taking a loan out against season tickets, this scam by Cellino will have massive implications if/when we don't make top 6. For us to be top 6 Cellino needs to invest in the club so why make this promise in order to sell extra season tickets? Cellino just needs to go out and sign several good quality players, the fans would come flooding back the minute we play decent football, no need for gimmicks, performances on the pitch will dictate attendances.
And what percent chance is there of Cellino doing that in any ones opinion? 0% for me And 100% chance of Evans, cook and Mowatt being moved on.
I can just see us this time next year with Cellino in charge giving a press conference... "I was going to buy back Elland Road but now I have to sell season tickets at a discount so the money will have to be used for that"...
How many of the poor fookers will wish they hadn't bought that ticket when Evans get the boot, a 2 bit coach comes in,you sell ya top players, and another load of serie B,C,D, dross start arriving ? One of the reasons no one knows Evans fate yet and who's arriving he needs to sell tickets before the **** hits the fan (forgive the pun )
Could be worse. When Millwall blow the playoffs the best ( no pun intended) players will piss off to bigger clubs like Gillingham , Charlton and Leytonstone Orient...
