Celtic safe standing announcement branded 'insensitive' by Hillsborough campaigner A LEADING Hillsborough campaigner says Celtic have been “very insensitive” in the timing of their announcement for safe standing at Parkhead. Margaret Aspinall, who was at the forefront of the bereaved families’ campaign for justice over Hillsborough, spoke out a day after Celtic confirmed rail seats would be installed over the summer. A modified area for around 2600 supporters will sit in the corner of the Lisbon Lions Stand at Celtic Park, where the Green Brigade fans' group are located. Aspinall, whose 18-year-old son James died in the Hillsborough tragedy, told the Telegraph: “It’s insensitive to announce that right at this time, a week just after the verdicts. It’s very insensitive.” She added: “We will always oppose any form of standing.”
What a *****. Scottish FA has been looking into safe standing areas for years. In fact we even had the Germans over to show us how its done without killing people.
The Hillsborough thing is just a smokescreen, the lazy work shy scouse ****s just don't like standing up. ps; Justice for the 39
People who stand at football matches are clearly just cocking a snook at Hillsborough victims. Insensitive bastards.
I'm genuinely surprised the scouse aren't up in arms at ****s who drive cars what with all the scousers killed in road accidents every year.
Apparently this story is pish The papers are using quotes from Celtic in June 2015 as though stated yesterday
There must be a thread on a Celtic forum somewhere ****s freaking out about it Season ticket renewals are out that's why it has been been unveiled. The world stops turning for no Scouser although I expect a statement from Celtic
