What ore for me, but we need to pressure them higher up the pitch. Chelation don't like being pressured, need time on the ball. Push them back with Watmore running at them, we could ( hopefully) get a result.
You are not the first to suggest Watmore. Are you not overly impressed with Khazri? Certainly excellent on his day. A bit Sess like. Fantastic at times. But he did cost 9 million i believe. Still think SA will stick with him and maybe rightly so. Watmores time will come.
Chelsea seem to struggle with pace. Khazri is very hitty miss at the moment and Sam has suggested changes. Feel he might start Watmore and use Khazri from the bench. I do like Khazri but he goes from poor to excellent like he was against Arsenal to poor again like at Stoke. Who knows Sam could take the safety off and play both. Khazri works hard enough imo to play as an attacking centre mid in front of two holding
His attitude might not be great but Lens is undoubtedly a good player (see goal v West Ham) and I think it might benefit us once in a while to massage the fragile egos of these primadonnas. It could be the difference we need.
Well I for one feel that Khazri needs looking at as he has so often taken the wrong option when attacks are building. He hangs onto the ball too long or wants to take his man on when a quick pass is needed. He and PvA should have built a better understanding by now but Khazri is too often slow in spotting that PvA is looking for run into space from him rather than stand still to receive. Three games left is too little to iron out that fault. It is now or never time almost and a 3-5-2 formation is needed from the off.
But Khazri is one of the KKK. Why the sudden turnaround. Like i asked earlier has he been worth 9million?
See, that's the thing for me- his form hasn't been great lately but I'd consider him to be a far better player than Cattermole and form is only temporary. Cattermole's attitude and passion seem to be dragging us on at the minute but I can't help but wonder if replacing him with a more creative, but less shouty, player might actually turn some of those draws into wins
Agreed form is only temporary, but we only have 3 games left. I trust Catts to show more pride and passion than M'Vila. Even if M'Vila is the superior player on his day. Of which there aint been many lately.
True enough! I do think we need more of an attacking edge though and changing things in the middle is the only way I can see of doing it
At the moment I would drop Mvila but he would be in ahead of Catts at the start of next season when hopefully we have a few more good quality players in.
Yeah, he's a threat from free kicks and that. Who would you drop for him? M'Vila? Or would you play him out wide? I'd quite like to see Khazri in the no 10 position he played for Bordeaux, Borini on the left and Larsson on the right. Though I'd prefer Lens on the wing if his workrate can be improved
