Its how much they miss them that's the problem. Yeah any team will miss their best players if they lose one of them but I think it's more a mental thing. Kompany doesn't suddenly make the other 3 defenders world class, but with him they seem to step up their game where as without ta almost like they know they are going to be in trouble. Similar when they miss Aguero, they know he's good for a goal or of no where.

They eh should be able to cope better than they do when they lose Kompany, not saying it's easy to replace a WC defender, but the contrast is from a league challenger to a mid table team when they don't have him.

I would fancy Atletico against either of these teams. Real Madrid really are lacking something, despite all their talents and Ronaldo just seems grumpy all the time.
