You're right, CC - Drinking Orangeboom in Amsterdam, etc , then finding bottles in Grandways...But, check the back of the label and see: "Brewed in the UK, under licence, by..." Put it back on the shelf and forget it Same with Heineken, Red Stripe, Grolsch, etc. Just 'blanded out'
Love Oranjeboom. You can get Oranjeboom which is brewed in Holland, though not as widely nowadays. At one time I think there were only Oranjeboom and a Heineken or Carlsberg brew which weren't brewed under licence which were on general sale.. Now you can get quite a few French and East European ones. Got a taste for Starporamen myself.
Thats the thing about Cider!!! When the Suns out it comes into its own and i find myself having to sample its delights. Hard life i know !!!
A bloke stopped me in town today and asked me "Where's the nearest boozer mate?" I replied "You're talking to him pal".
The 6 packs of Heineken that you can get in Asda/ Morrisons are brewed in Holland. You can tell coz theyre about £6 for 6× 330 ml cans. Worth the extra i think and defo a lager i would drink
We have Pear Cider on draught down here where I live in the West Country, on a hot day you cannot beat it.

Marlborough area, not all the pubs stock it and the ones that do stock it also don't always have it in. I'm afraid that it's a bit hit and miss. But you could go on a pub crawl until you find one.
