...and one of the best pair of drivers on the grid!

All joking apart, the truth between the lines is that Honda's and Renault's step has likely to have neared the 2015 spec Ferrari which was already slightly behind the 2015 spec Merc. The fact that Ferrari and Merc have made impressive steps again this year (evident by the performance gains on track) means that those units are likely to still be severely hampered in comparison.

It also shows how bad the Sauber car/drivers must be.

    Benson Alert: http://www.bbc.com/sport/formula1/36105030

Been here too many times with Renault, don't they bring an "upgrade" to every Canadian GP? If they find any performance it will push them into Ferrari territory not title contention, especially arriving so late in the season. One of the (many) things that pisses me off with the FIA right now is that everything they do seems to solidify Mercedes' position at the top. If they'd upped the engine allocation this season it would've allowed Ferrari and Renault to introduce upgrades at earlier races. I wonder if Renault could have this engine available to them sooner but because they have to make four engines stretch to 21 grand prix weekends they have to delay it until Canada. The reduction in testing also helped Mercedes given their changes were nowhere near as radical as their rivals', maybe Ferrari wouldn't have suffered two DNFs in the first two races if they'd had an extra four days of testing. When Red Bull were dominating they were constantly changing the rules to try and unsettle them. It's almost like they want Mercedes to keep dominating for political reasons so they can keep pushing through their ridiculous rule changes and arguing that Mercedes and Ferrari have to much power within the sport.

They misread the rules? They didn't realise that you can use a turbo?

It's interesting to me that they're telling Button about their plans for 2017. Given that he doesn't have a contract beyond this year.

Finally dispels the idea that Honda have a revolutionary idea that could be the best engine if they sort the teething issues. Nope it's a total dud and needs changing from the ground up.

All that hype and they can't manage the top 10 in qualifying yet.

I was half expecting a picture of a brick on wheels.
Bit of a dig from Boullier, seems to be 'stop talking, start doing'. mcLaren have been almost as vocal as RBR, better hope when honda get it right they don't drop McHRT for someone else, like the aforementioned RBR

Duh! Obviously it means they are making the step bigger, not the chassis.

Don't need any downforce when your engine is that weak and raising the car makes it easier to work on when it breaks down.

Wowzers, good for Verstappen I suppose, makes it harder for others to steal him. Bit harsh on Kyvat mind, was just one race. Maybe it's also to cover off the issues in Toro Rosso escalating.

Crazy decision. Expect tantrums galore when Ricciardo's thrashing him.

Personally I think its a bad move - Red bulls season is a development year and pretty dead anyway until the engine upgrades/improvements happen - likely to be 2017 now. I have no doubt of Verstappen's ability and potential but he needs educating and managing, banging him into the multiple world champions is a simple sink or swim scenario. How long before he is itching away at Riccardo because of his lack of tact - there is a vast difference between self confidence/belief and the blind arrogance of what you believe you may be capable of at a future date.

There has always been the debate of how Lewis entered the sport, but he had a lot of junior experience/success and a massive amount of testing under his belt - he still had the control and management to keep things in check in the initial stages of his career. In his defence he was in title contention from the off.

This for me is a case of too much too soon - let the fireworks begin.
