I think as a garden party the big plant pot with a liner bag for water loons great. Look at all those lovely little flowers....
What beers we drinking fellas? I tend to go Estrella as an everyday beer but will get some good ones in for a party Brooklyn Lager, Goose Island IPA and Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. A good bottle of tequilla is also essential in the sun.
you want to mix up sangria's for RHC... some ****ty easy cocktail like that to get everyone smashed in the back garden then get your beers in... if anyone wants lemons or limes in the beer... kick them out.
Sgroppino is great for sunny day BBQ. Half a glass of Prosecco Shot of Vodka Spoon of lemon sorbet Couple of mint leaves. Or Shortcross gin and tonic Or Tempted sweet cider (lisburn brewery) on ice.
All about the ciders I got a Pimms cider at weekend, looked interesting thought I'd give it a go now it's all summery. Dont drink bear, can't beat cider in summer
1 part Gin (Grand Ten Wireworks or another low juniper gin) 1 part grapefruit juice 2 parts IPA (Boulder Mojo works nicely) 1 tsp simple syrup (adjust to taste if you prefer a sweeter drink) Sprig of mint Wedge of grapefruit mix that up for Luv. just copied and pasted.. no idea WTF those beers or gins are but probably yank
This is the Indian lamb burgers recipe. Use red onion not white. I just use ready made breadcrumbs because I couldn't be assed with doing themmyself. Fresh chillies best rather than powder. 1 small onion, quartered 4cm/1½ in piece fresh ginger 4 large garlic cloves 20g/¾oz fresh coriander, stalks and leaves 2-3 green chillies, chopped or ½-1 tsp red chilli powder 450g/1lb lamb mince ¾ tsp ground cumin 1½ tsp garam masala 1 tsp salt, or to taste 1 large free-range egg 2 slices thick-cut white bread, processed to crumbs in a food processor 2 tbsp oil, for greasing Mix it all together make into burgers...stick in fridge for half hour to firm up done! Then just make up a cucumber and mint/ corriander raita to dollop on the top.
Peroni for me, or failing that I'll have a go at most half decent Pilsner Not an 'ale' drinker as such, so I'm fairly easy to please.
Because the Euros is on I'm going to try and time a decent weekend match/s on a sunny day. Bring out my old tv. Too far for connecting top house Aerial...I assume I could just stick one of those indoor Aerials on it and it would work? Stupid predictatext
I'd say the Mrs, but the only things she'll polish is her nails and my helmet, thinking about it, she pays someone to do the former and I generally pay someone to do the latter JOKE ALERT So here's my solution - bargain eh...http://www.nobleexpress.co.uk/cp/ga...eferal=12514&gclid=CIDptfHkwMwCFTUo0wodH9kAvQ
Went to a BBQ years ago in my parents village, at the village pub, to raise funds for the local football team. The BBQ was run by the team not the pub. Unfortunately they put the village idiot in charge of the BBQ. After loads of chicken and sausages had been eaten said village idiot went into the pub to get more chicken. He brought it out and put it on the BBQ. Someone said to him you need to defrost it first. He replied " I never defrosted anything I've cooked today and its been okay". Needless to say there were a fair few people chucking up the next day. The village idiot went on to join the Navy and is a weapons systems operator now, God help us if he ever sees combat.
Read it again L490mm x W365mm x D220mm Care Instructions: Galvanised steel is not dishwasher safe. If water is left in this item for periods any longer than 6 hours staining and/or corrosion may start to occur. Dry thoroughly after every use with a clean cloth. Clean with a soft cloth dampened in water and a mild non-abrasive washing-up detergent or soap. Rinse and dry thoroughly after cleaning. Store in a dry environment. If you leave water in a galvanised bucket it'll rust it says my I'd say..... Ehhhhh Hhhmmmmmmm no ted. Just imagine the size it is first Is about 8.5 inches tall enough really? I would say take out the old one and stick a big plastic bag in it then fill it.
Essential BBQ food... please log in to view this image Add pork & honey then leave overnight, the next day add some salt and chuck them on the BBQ, awesome stuff.
I'm not big on cocktails and tend to just go for straight Tequilla or rum and coke or ginger beer. Rum and Ginger Beer is a good summer drink though. Double rum over ice in a large tumble, slice of lime top up with the beer, use this stuff though as it's by far the best... please log in to view this image
