Although the season isn't over yet, thought we could get the voting hats on as for some reason all teams and league decide to give out their POTY awards before the final few games. Simple enough, vote for your winners for the following categories and maybe someone might jot them down and actually reveal the winners.... then again maybe it'll turn into a slagging match over how Flanno won POTY 1. 1. POTY (free choice) Coutinho. The bright spark in the team. Special mention to Milner who has bossed the assists and got a few goals. 2. YPOTY (free choice - under 21) Origi. Way, way better than I thought he was going to be. Very pleased. 3. Best win of the season Some real good results including beating United at home in EL and Chelsea early doors but it has to be Dortmund 4-3 EL. 4. Worse defeat of the season Unfortunately quite a few absolute stinkers too. Southampton was awful but the total no show against Watford was a very dark period of the season where we were total ****e and going nowhere. 5. Goal of the season He's been a spanner for most of the season but it has to be Benteke overhead kick v United. 6. Signing of the season Clyne. Right back position solved for the next 10 years.
1. POTY (free choice) Coutinho. Easy choice 2. YPOTY (free choice - under 21) Can, only just turned 22, so counts. Playing in his proper position has looked great at times, close with Origi though. 3. Best win of the season Dortmund 4-3 EL. 4. Worse defeat of the season .Too much choice 5. Goal of the season Coutinho screamers galore.. 6. Signing of the season Clyne. By default, been totally average this season though.
1. POTY (free choice) - Coutinho by default really. 2. YPOTY (free choice - under 21) - Origi for the last half of the season. Really showed the talent that we thought we were buying. 3. Best win of the season Dortmund 4-3 EL for Drama. But Everton 4-0 for complete performance. 4. Worse defeat of the season Watford 3-0 - just everything we did was terrible that day. 5. Goal of the season Firmino team goal v City (Can's backheel, Coutinho's pass, Firm's tap in) Gotta love the team goal. The pressing, build up play and ease at which we walked through them was a joy to behold. 6. Signing of the season Tricky one. Clyne has been solid. Milner & Firm both shown glimpses and stats wise, they are the best performing players for assists/goals. Klopp wins it for the hopeful long term! 7. Surprising player of the season / most improved. Who did you think was going to be pants but has ended up surprising you. Probably Lovren. Since Klopp came in he's been much more solid. Still not brilliant, but in comparison to how he was performing last season, guy looks like he could have a future here.

Goal of the season Benteke overheard kick v United 6. Signing of the season Firmino - good under Klopp and will only improve 7. Surprising player of the season / most improved. Probably Origi again.

I am really pleased to see that many of you have actually realised how good Milner has been for you. I was beginning to think that none of you watched the games
Nobody deserves an award unless they score the winner in the EL final or make a match winning save in same. Other than that the team get the beige award....
Roberto Firmino has been statistically Liverpool's best player this season as findings have shown from his debut season in the Premier League. When Firmino arrived at Liverpool in the summer from Hoffenheim, he made a slow start as Brendan Rodgers played him out of position in most games. It did not help the Brazilian's case when he was played on the right side of a defensive 4-5-1 formation against Manchester United back in September. However, since the appointment of Jurgen Klopp, Firmino has thrived in a centre-forward role of a false nine 4-3-3 formation, alongside Brazilian team-mate, Philippe Coutinho. Not only has he been involved in a 4-3-3, but also in the centre of three attacking midfielders in a 4-2-3-1 formation. The Brazilian has impressed in big games this season. Liverpool fans became most impressed in Firmino when Klopp's false nine tactic ripped Manchester City to shreds as the Reds took a 3-0 lead in 30 minutes at the Etihad Stadium. Other major games he has played a big part was also a 2-0 win against Manchester United in the Europa League last 16 to help Liverpool take a vital lead to Old Trafford for the second leg. With nine goals so far in the league, Firmino is the top scorer for Liverpool in the Premier League at the moment. Not only has he been netting vital goals, he is joint runner-up in assists for his teammates with eight in all competitions, alongside Adam Lallana. He has also been successful in creating chances for his teammates with 41, third in comparison to James Milner and Alberto Moreno, in the Premier League this season. please log in to view this image With Klopp implementing fast, attacking, football into his Liverpool side, the German will be hoping Firmino will create more chances for his side's attacking players next season. A lot of Liverpool fans would also agree Coutinho and Emre Can have been excellent players for Liverpool this season and they came second and third respectively as they join Firmino in Liverpool's statistically top three players this season.

He's picked it up since the start of the year, before that he was going through the motions and not good enough.
