For me Spurs are a bit like The Kinks. Reported to have been very good in the 60s but so pedestrian in everthing since then that it's hard to believe that they were ever any good. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ bald - I was around in the '60s, and never thought The Kinks were very good. However, I will honour and love them forever for one thing - 'Lola'. What a wonderful song! bald-in-guelph? - if you can't love 'Lola', you deserve to be bald everywhere. Ha! I have a long-standing personal loathing for Newcastle United, but don't hate anyone else. I fell out with West Ham over the Sheffield United affair. Earlier that season, Bury played an unregistered player in the F.A. Cup tie against Chester through a straightforward oversight. When Bury realized, they approached the F.A. and offered to replay the game (which they'd won). The F.A. threw them out of the competition. West Ham knowingly played half of that season with two illegal players, and never owned up to it. But they weren't thrown out of the Premier League. It was clearly one law for the bent big clubs and pure contempt for the little honest club who'd made a genuine mistake. I wouldn't miss West Ham. They deserve relegation. But I don't hate them.
Got to be West Ham just because of the media love in with them, also hate Birmingham because of the way they rip our fans off for ticket prices.
