Not sure if anyone got back to you on this one but... A mate of mine went out to Australia for a 6 month stint. He's a qualified IT chappy (thats the official title right?) and got a job out there in IT. That was over a year ago now and to be honest I cant see him coming back.
I'm not racist personally, but I understand why there is racism. Those who jump on their highhorse as soon a racist comment is made often have no idea of how ethnic minorities can cause problems - they live in leafy suburbs/posh inner-city flats - and don't understand how bad things are in certain areas of the country. I'm not blaming any particular race for this, as there are plenty of white scallies/chavs hoodies around making people's lives a misery. But it is no coincidence that crime and depravation are more widespread in areas worse affected by immigration It doesn't surprise me that people in these communities grow to resent immigrants. There are to many racists in this country, but there are also too many ivory tower-dwellers who are too quick to brandish the racism card, and label people as ignorance and prejudiced, rather than considering that maybe people have racist views due to their own personal experiences. Rant over.

Its awful living where I live, and its not getting any better! Ive been brought up to go nowhere near them "Pakis" sorry but its just shortening the name of the country where they are from, The cultural divide near here is massive there are places you can go and places you cant go but can you blame me for hating them just one example of how dodgy these people are, They are buying houses on this one road near me 2 semi houses converting them into one house, making a prayer room which only has to be 15Square feet into a prayer room, classing it as a religious building and not paying any sort of tax. I work my arse off to pay thousands of pounds in tax to let these ****ers live there!!!!
Why arrogant? I'm not the one who instantly passes judgement on everyone and considers myself above everyone, unlike some on here. Why clueless? I've lived in very rough areas, average areas and now a nice area. I currently work in a pretty ****ty area, but have worked in the city centre. I'd imagine I have more of a clue and more life experience than you I wasn't talking about anybody in particular. Just that a lot of these people who decry racism and dismiss it as ignorant prejudice, don't have any knowledge of the conditions some people live in, and why some people become intolerant of other cultures.
