Apart from Smalling and Jones being average I only think you are 2 players away.

A proper DM and a fast out and out striker.

Your team as it is should be able to dominate possession.

Partially true. We were a midge's away from winning it the season before last without him taking that high-risk gamble.
I'm not saying we're going to do it any time soon, but it can be done by getting all the pieces to fall into place or to get lucky (very lucky) with another Suarez type of game-changer.
How do you know how much he has, btw?

Over a £billion profit not tidy enough for you gerrez. You're obv too spoilt <whistle>

In all honesty as Shteve says they're on a nice earner, a self sufficient cash train chugging alone. They may sell they may not, I honestly couldnt give a 5hit either way.

I think we have three pretty good DMs. More than pretty good in fact. We do potentially need a worldy centre half though.

  7. I'm not disputing the position of each club in terms of value. I agree with what you're both saying. I'm saying the Glazer's mentality is no different to most other owners. They're in it to make money so of they were offered a sum they thought was suitable, they'd sell up and be gone in a instant just like FSG would.

It's like owning a house that is supporting your lifestyle whilst still appreciating in value.

The ScumGlazers own a house (United) that they bought for about £800million with what was practically a 100% mortgage. They were lucky as the guy who managed the house was a genius and was able to maintain and indeed improve the value of the property and the rental return without having to spend much money on it. By the time the genius had retired the property market for the very highest end properties had gone nuts. The house was now worth so much money that investing in refurbing it every year was a no brainer as the income it produced more than covered the expenditure whilst also providing enough money to live off and showing no signs of depreciating in value.

As I said, geniuses. Scum but geniuses.

    No.

They've paid for their purchase with the profit made by the business.

Your Shermans have an exit strategy

    We're not mid table.

    You are though.

    Thanks for finding this.

TBF though he did say that partnership is mid table and so far we cant judge because Phil Jones hasn't kicked a ball.

Jones needs to be put out of his (and our) misery. He's either got brittle bones or a brittle mind. Possibly both.

I always find it crazy when a professional athlete is so injured he cant kick a single ball in the season. I understand with broken bones and serious injuries. But can a niggling injury really keep you out for the whole season?

He's played the occasional game but picks up another injury almost straight away. Just checked and he's made 13 appearances this season. It's a bit of a horror showing really.

As much as 13?! wow i am surprised. He's a decent utility player but he will never be top level. Similar to Wes Brown.

How are you guys feeling about next season them?

I mean right now you are depending on a game between 'arse and Citeh going your way to get 4th. A draw or city loss is needed... thats really important for you but its out of your control right now.

You might be getting mourinho but could be getting Van Gaal again. It does seem the worst kept secret since guardiola though...

And finally you could win a cup... well SHOULD win a cup i should say.

I Believe LVG will be there next season. I get the sense Giggs will take over after LVG retires and they don't want Mourinho at all.
