The athletico shirt in the Europa cup final v Fulham was a blinder, I was supposed to being neutral / Fulham for my mate who travelled to Hamburg, but just had to follow the stripes.
The thought of the new kit/fixtures usually just about gets me through the long boring summer turning SSN to see nothing but cricket on(yawn). Thank God for the euros this year. Any ideas on under Armour templates?
When the rumour about UA started, I mentioned that the shirts Andy Murray wears are a bit naff, but have to say I thought the Spurs shirts was ok. Would like something really "jazzy" and stand out different, in a good way.
It must be a American thing with kits, nike make pretty boring kits as well. The Atletico away kit is nice but very baseball, one colour and not very inventive. Just hoping if someone decides that we should have the sash back, its big and bold- not like that skidmark on the spurs top
Noticed Nike have used the same template on virtually ever national strip. http://www.footballshirtculture.com/Football-shirt-blog/16/17-Kits/
I think that I have a design that should satisfy everyone: please log in to view this image Traditional stripes on one side for some. A sash for others. A bitchin' stick figure with a flaming skull riding a skateboard for the people who want something a little more bold.
For an away kit, how about aqua blue and dark blue stripes, dark blue shorts and dark blue socks with a aqua blue top!! Or a deep pink shirt, white shorts and deep pink socks. It would look cool! White is too damn boring, and nearly every club in the world has either a white or black second strip, and yellow looks very tame unless used with an opposite. Years ago, Saints played WBA in the FA Cup in yellow shirts, black shorts and socks, and I thought that was a good combination.
