it is close call between Gea and Martial .. but had to choose one at the end, and I think Gea just edged it slightly
so rival fans don't spoil the polls there are only 4 outstanding performances this season .. and if you think someone else is better, pls explain who and why?
I would have been tempted to put big Tim in there, he is a young kid that has been asked to perform right across the back line (sometimes all in one game) and has looked very solid every game, he is also very good going forward. Maybe he would be more of a "find of the season" type though.
Goes about his business in a very understated way. I would much prefer to see him taking on the Carrick role in midfield next season.
Yep, he would do well there. Any views on Fosu-Mensah partnering Smalling at CB, he covers that area very well from full back anyway and was mostly played there in youth and U21 teams.
I think Smalling needs an experienced CB next to him, and ideally one who's a more commanding figure.I do like Fosu-Mensah though, as well as Borthwick Jackson. Both have shown they are good enough for the Prem.
Borthwick-Jackson seemed to disappear for a while, I know he got injured but it wasn't bad. He has played in the U21s a couple of times lately so hasn't gone on loan which I thought he might have. I would rather have him at Lb than Rojo if fit though.
Yep easily. I think Shaw will be first choice, but Borthwick-Jackson shuld be pushing him all the way imo.
tbh I almost added him as a 5th choice.. overall he had a good season, but had some bad moments too ..as a CB I think Smalling just edge him but we can add him to the poll if you want
