Just taken the lead on aggregate against Bayern.

I love the way Atletico play - If I had to support a continental team they'd get the nod.

Brilliant defence, absolutely deserve to get to be in the final.

Hope Man City smash Real now, don't give a ****e about a derby in the final.

I still think the French are going to win the Euros, and he'll be the key man alongside Pogba.

That team is just shaping up to be superb.

I think the English team look a good prospect. Providing Roy takes and plays the young cavaliers rather than the old guard.

Barcelona and Real Madrid have scored over a hundred goals whilst Atletico have only scored 60. I wonder if their stadium is silent whilst their fans sit demanding to be entertained? Must be awful for them.

I'm not bothered which of them Atletico beat in the final.

I thought Bayern had massively overpaid Juve at 18m euro when he'd played a handful of games but that's now looking good business.

Atletico are very similar in style to Leicester, they appreciate they cannot compete by playing the same way as their peers so choose a way which suits them down to the ground. When it works it's brilliant, but when it starts going a bit wonky, that's when the fans get pissed off.

It's strange how Atletico's style involving hardly having the ball is much more exciting than Barcelona's of hogging it. Leicester (see above) aren't boring to watch either.

Agree. I like a good counter attacking team. Which Forest used to be, and Liverpool in their prime. Unfortunately we have a lot of fans who would be moaning at lack of possession and free flowing attacks. Complaining about lack of goals, 60, compared to Barca and Real's over 100 and demanding to be entertained before making any noise. Though Atletico fans manage to make a noise no matter what.

The most pointless and misleading stat in football is possession.

Agree. Try telling that to some of our fans though. And that every ball doesn't have to be launched forward.

I think some of the players need to be told that too.

I don't mind any style or system which ends with City scoring a goal more than the opposition.

I think we've moved on from those dark days of unambitious win at all costs.
People nowadays have a right to expect fluid tactical strategies underpinned by versatile personnel adept and at ease with any system the manager wishes to introduce, as well as deep lying no. 8s, false liberos, fandango futbol etc

I'm thinking something along the lines of the football orchestrated by the great Hector Chumpitaz for Peru in WC70.
