Well done to Leicester, I put on the other thread about them this season that they had no chance of winning it but it looks like miracles can happen which is good news for the rest of us. Arsene Wenger should hang his head in shame with the squad he has, they should have romped the league but they fell away so long ago, pathetic really. I kind of agree that it will be back to the status quo next season, Leicester will struggle like we did with Europe and the other competitions.
Oddschanger @Oddschanger Spare a thought for Jordan Veretout, who rejected a move to Leicester City to join Aston Villa last summer! please log in to view this image
Delighted for them, I wanted them to do it as soon as they got cocky and reached the top. Not only have they won it, they've won comfortably. Most fun watching it all progress. Congrats.
On a thread dedicated to congratulating them, in which there's a genuine feelgood factor, you throw that in. That's all.
Really happy for them, and for football in general. Incredible achievement and an inspiration to every other club out there.
It wasn't like I poo-pooed what they did or slagged them off. I didn't moan about them, I just said I'm having a bet they'll be relegated.
No I didn't but their football this season has spoken for itself and tells me they won't go down next season
Spare a thought for James Chester who could have joined Leicester instead of being stuck at full back or on the bench at West Brom
Are you serious? I was referring to on pitch matters. Of course they are to blame for everything that is wrong in the world including our attendances, Steve Bruce still being manager, the membership scheme the name change bollox, the war in Syria, earthquakes and whatever else you can think of just add to the list.
I couldn't give a flying nuns **** about Leicester winning the league, I'm just glad to see a real underdog upset the status quo. I couldn't care a **** which team it was.
All those I know from Hull who support the "big" teams have been very charitable about LCTF winning the prem. Think its because no other "big" team won it so they dont lose face. In fact its been a pleasure to not see the ****ers filling facebook about their team this season
I've decided to rescind my none congratulations & actually congratulate them on winning it. My change of mind? Because it's not often the underdog comes out on top, it's nothing short of a miracle really. Also Ranieri! He comes across as a really nice bloke! Anyway congrats Leicester City for giving all the other teams & their fans hope. I'm sure a lot of Leicester fans are thinking they're playing football manager & thinking it's a dream! I know I would be, it'd be like winning the lottery!
Couple of Ranieri quotes. Always show me everything you've got, and every now and again I will explain a little football to you,' he told one players' meeting. 'You maintain this spirit, and on it I will put my Italian tactics,' was another message.
Maybe they should also arrange a fixture in Thailand. Such is the support for them there they would probably sell out the Rajamangala Stadium in Bangkok!(Capacity 65,000)
For now. In two years time all those fake Leicester shirts in Thailand will be rags and everyone will be wearing red again. They swap clubs like kids swap their toys. All a bunch of plastic turds latching themselves onto clubs of which they have no connection.
