I'd probably go as far as saying maybe even keeping Lovren too, even if it's just for a season as he's improved a lot lately. Skrtel definitely has to go, and maybe Sakho too

    Oh my bad then <ok>

However I know this is correct, it's moot not mute ;);)

Lallana had improved under Klopp quite a lot, I doubt Klopp will look to be shifting him on any time soon.

    10) Domenico Berardi
Liverpool have struggled in front of the goal and Klopp wants to add Domenico Berardi to his squad. Berardi was linked with a lot of Premier League clubs but the move didn’t happen. The 21 year old was Serie B’s player of the year and Klopp likes the player very much. Juventus have a buyback clause for him but Liverpool’s ambitions look stronger at the moment.

    9) Jorginho
Rumors suggest Napoli’s Jorginho is also in sight of Jurgen Klopp as the Brazilian has been quite impressive with the Italian club recently and could help in improving Liverpool’s midfield woes. He could cost around £22.2 million but would definitely be a good buy.

    8) Jeison Murillo
Highly rated Inter Milan defender Murillo is enjoying a great start to the Milan leg of his career and could possibly go down as a huge bargain if his already impressive performances continue. Inter have embraced a very tight defensive style after spending wisely over the summer in acquiring targets who would suit their philosophy. Jeison Murillo is a very effective defender who isn’t overly tall but combines his defensive technique with a good physical bite. He has already appeared 15 times for his native Colombian national side.

Liverpool at the moment have been blighted by injuries and any arrival in most positions would be welcome. At 23, Murillo is a player not just for the present but also for the future.

    7) Christian Zapata
Having started off his European career at Udinese, the Colombian has enjoyed stints at Spanish club Villareal before finding himself back in the Serie A with AC Milan.

Already capped by Colombia almost 40 times, the former Villarreal man play both as full back on either flank and as a central defender. He is ambidextrous is nature and hence can get the ball out of defense or spray crosses with both his feet comfortably. Zapata has been criticized for his involvement in a crucial dismissal for Colombia in the 2014 World Cup and subsequently missed his country’s participation at the Copa America in 2015.

    6) Martín Cáceres (Juventus)
The Uruguayan defender is 29 and has had a world of exposure playing in several top European leagues with several top European sides that include Barcelona, Sevilla, Villarreal and currently Juventus.

Cáceres is a strong ball playing defender who is a good reader of the game and has the pace to intercept or safely track back on counters, he is good in the air and can play on either flanks as a full back. Barring his recent driving controversy is a very good guy to bet on, which is exactly what Liverpool are looking for in the market right now.

It is no secret that Liverpool desperately need a top quality defender who can shore up the defense and also occasionally fill in for the full backs when needed. Cáceres’ experience will hold him in high stead with Jurgen Klopp who loves all action players like the Uruguayan. In short for a developing team like Liverpool, Cáceres would be a good signing because as a defender he is hitting his peak and could potentially be a game changer for the Reds and what’s more?

    5. Piotr Zielinski
Serie A club, Empoli’s Polish midfielder, Piotr Sebastian Zieliński, has emerged as the latest player linked with a summer transfer to Premier League club Liverpool. Zieliński is currently on loan at Empoli from fellow Serie A club Udinese whose squad he joined in 2012 for an undisclosed fee.

Zieliński, is highly rated in the Polish and Italian circles because of his vision and composure on the ball. He is far from the finished article but Jurgen Klopp reportedly believes that he has the potential to fit into a demanding high pressing game that is employed by Liverpool and flourish in the company of fellow midfielders like Firmino, Coutino and Milner. Zieliński is also a Poland international and has already represented the national side ten times so far. He is just 21, and at his age it is an ideal time to adapt to a foreign league. He could end up costing Liverpool in the region of 3-5 million pounds with bonus clauses included.

    4. Jesé Rodríguez Ruiz ( Real Madrid )
In a sensational bid, Premier League side Liverpool are bidding big to bring Real Madrid’s talented youngster to the Merseyside this summer. The young Spanish talent is not seen as more than bit part player at the club he has called home for a long time now and has been been linked with a move away for a while now and with Jurgen Klopp at helm Liverpool will be an ideal destination for the youngster to head to after being restricted in performances at his beloved Real Madrid.

Real Madrid’s president Florentino Perez is an admirer of Jese Rodriguez who can play on the wings or through the middle and is reluctant to part with the player who he sees as the future of Real Madrid. The president however will reluctantly part with the 23 year old if he wishes to move to another club but will demand a reported fee of at least £20 million whereas Liverpool value the player at £15-18 million.

    3. Antonio Candreva ( Lazio )
Struggling Premier League club, Liverpool are weighing up a move for Chelsea target Antonio Candreva who has been playing top quality football in the Serie A for SS Lazio since his move to the club from the Udinese team in 2012.

Candreva can play both as a midfielder and a winger,he has a good work ethic combined with technical adequacy that Klopp could use in the Liverpool midfield at the moment. He has experience playing for various teams across Italy and even had a fairly successful loan stint with Juventus a few seasons ago. Candreva has represented the Italian national team at youth levels and is working hard to get into the national squad for the Euro 2016.

Candreva has a brilliant right foot but can play across various positions in the midfield which sometimes makes it hard for himself as the managers tend to see him as a utility guy more than an expert in one position. He is known for his pace and stamina but the Premier League requires physical strength too which he will have to build with time to get acquainted with the English game. At 29 he may be a tad expensive at Lazio’s asking price of over £25 million though.

    2) Lucas Moura
Another player who is on Klopp’s list is Brazilian midfielder Lucas Moura who arrived with a huge amount of hype and was signed by French champions PSG for a mammoth sum but has been relatively quiet due to various reasons. However the Brazilian is still one of the most highly rated and hottest players on the market and will definitely find a home with fellow Brazilians at the club if any move happens materializes over the summer. Moura is believed to be valued at over £30 million by his current club that is considered pretty steep a price by Liverpool and hence the club will be trying very hard to negotiate a price for the winger who is seen as a game changer for Klopp as well as Liverpool in the coming seasons.

    1) Timo Horn & Jonas Hector To Liverpool
Liverpool are interested in hiring the services of FC Koln goalkeeper Timo Horn and defender Jonas Hector in the summer to give a major boost to their chances for a return to UCL next summer. Liverpool have struggled in both defense as well as goalkeeping areas all season long and hence would make perfect sense for them to hire the services of the players.

(I don't think they quite grasp the "number one" point with them naming two <laugh>)

Timo Horn and Jonas Hector would be a great start, and both should be relatively cheap. Hope we bring in another CB in addition to Matip.

EXCLUSIVE: The Gunners have extensively monitored the promising teenager currently on the books of the league champions, but his preferred destination is Anfield

Liverpool are confident of beating off competition from Arsenal for Leicester’s coveted young left-back Ben Chilwell.

Goal understands that the Premier League champions are now aware Anfield is the 19-year-old’s preferred destination.

The defender, who sparked attention with stellar displays while on loan to Huddersfield before rejoining the Foxes in January, is enthused by the impact Jurgen Klopp has already made on Merseyside and is keen on being part of his reconstruction at the club.

David Wagner, manager of the Terriers and the German’s best friend, alerted Liverpool to Chilwell’s talents and the Reds were stirred by his qualities.

A natural leader, his left-foot delivery is superb as is his covering of the centre-back. Chilwell is comfortable in possession, has good close control and positional intelligence.

Arsenal have extensively monitored the England youth international, who trained with the senior national team for two weeks in March, and left a very good impression on the backroom team.

The Gunners had a £3.5 million offer rejected last summer and now look set to lose out on the teenager again.

Claudio Ranieri has named Chilwell on the bench seven times - once against Liverpool at the King Power Stadium - during Leicester’s landmark campaign.

The Reds anticipate a deal in the region of £8 million, inclusive of add-ons, will clinch his acquisition.

In January it had emerged that the starlet was on a contract of £800 a week. Leicester had been hopeful of agreeing new terms with their 2014-15 Academy Player of the Year before the end of the season, when his current deal would enter its final 12 months.

However, with Chilwell captivated by Anfield, he is likely to line up under Klopp for the 48-year-old’s first full campaign at the Liverpool helm.

The former Borussia Dortmund boss, who has already recruited Schalke's Joel Matip to his back line for 2016-17, has stated bolstering the club's rearguard will be a priority.

"When you build up a team you start with the defence," Klopp said after Liverpool's 1-0 defeat at Villarreal last week.

"But it's not just about speaking to the defenders. I'm never happy conceding goals.

"To build up a stability [in defence] is a big target for next season."

Posting this here as the guys came up with it.

Huddersfield Town have captured Liverpool's young goalkeeper Danny Ward on a loan deal starting at the beginning of next season, according to reports.

The Huddersfield Examiner claim that the 22-year-old has agreed a season-long loan deal with the Championship side.

Ward, who made his debut against Bournemouth last month, impressed in Sunday's defeat to Swansea, keeping the scoreline at 3-1, despite a lacklustre defensive display by Liverpool

    ..

Once it's confirmed I update the tracking thread, in theory.
