I honestly can't see our players descending to this. And that isn't biased...I'm sure it's also true of other teams than Saints. To descend into the chaos we saw at the end you have to have a sense of entitlement. You know the sort of stuff where United used to complain (when beaten) that they weren't treated with respect (of course, they are used to getting beaten now).

The most you'd get from us is a wide-eyed amazement from the likes of Mane and a performance worthy of La Scala from Pelle.

Poch should really get a touchline ban, as he should not be going on the pitch like that, even if trying to do the right thing. I thought he maintained his composure really well. There was one moment when the camera went close and things were heating up that you could almost see his blood boiling under the skin, but he stayed pretty calm. His interview afterwards was top class. Fair play to him*


*he is still a sniffling, lying, dirty rat though

 

Here's a thought on their behaviour. My team have a cup final at Northampton's ground weekend after next... they would have been watching that last night and this game will be the biggest of their lives. I hope they stick to my rules and not what they've seen on the pitch.

Should probably change it to just Spurs to be honest, since the ex split up with me there's been very little of the latter

I quiet enjoyed the game,another fifteen minutes and I don't think Spurs would have had a team for Sunday.
Until near the end I thought Clattenburgh was doing ok,I doubt very much that if it was Victor involved in some of those tackles he'd have stayed on,Mr Cs eyes would have lit up.

 

They knew what they were doing though, just winding them up the whole time. Costa did that to us and VVD lost his cool if you remember.

Spurs have a couple of players with a nasty streak in them, Dembele, Walker (and Ali). I think the rest just got caught up in it.

 

Yep. Can you imagine if Ali had been playing last night?

 

I do. Dembelle will get a ban, Lamella won't .... is my guess.
