We all know you won't Bluey. You'll seethe off to the Chelsea board, send a message to a mod demanding that I'm banned and then scuttle back here to tell me how chilled out you are and how stupid I am.

Sturridge played off Suarez. Without him no way would he have scored so many...

He didn't "play off him" for the first 5 games so how come Studge scored the winning goals in 3 of them and also in the draw?
We scored 101 goals that season Suarez and Sturridge scored 52 between them, who the **** do you reckon scored the other 49.<laugh>

It's quite simple. Firstly, with Suarez in your side running riot, he would occupy 2-3 defenders at times. This creates space for others, like Sturridge. We had the same thing going on with Bale for a while.,

You have only to look what happened to you after he was sold!....

That doesn't really address the goals scored and points accumulated in the first 6 games of the season...

6 games is just that, 6 games. It's around 15% of a season. Without Suarez there is no way Liverpool would ever have even come close to winning the Prem that year...

Nope, thing secret ingredient that season was we had no European football and played far less games than those that did in the top 4-5, which in turn gave our players time to recuperate between games and for minor knocks and injuries to heal between matches.
Bottom line City deserved their title, Suarez was our best player but the team/smallish squad we had Al contributed to our season/failure.

Your idea that somehow Spurs efforts this season are based on teamwork and ours wasn't is deluded NSIS, like without Kane's goal tally Spur's would still be second as of today?

That's not quite the point you made earlier.

Without Kane it's unlikely you'd have got within 10 points of Leicester...

Without Kane, Alii, Erikson, no. But no way we're we as dependent on Kane this year as you were on Suarez.

Nobody quite realised it at the time, but we were watching one of the top 3-4 players in the world....

Kane's scored 37% of your league goals this season.

Suarez scored 31% of Liverpool's league goals that season. Between them the rest of the Liverpool squad scored 70 league goals out of the total of 101 goals. 70 goals is more than any team has managed in the league so far this season!

You're doing Sterling, Sturridge and Gerrard a disservice.

Myself(and Shtan)have pointed out that we coped without Suarez for 5-6 games at the start of that season, I also told you that the combo of Suarez/Sturridge scored 52 of our 101 and yet you still won't have it that our entire team/squad contributed to the season as a whole.
Jeez NSIS you must still be bitter because of us putting nine past Spurs that season.:)

... if I was to 'compare and contrast' I'd say you fell short due to some defensive frailties and also some managerial naivete ... we have some incredibly strong characters at the back in Huth, Morgan and Fuchs and when we needed to grind out results we did ... that platform has given our more gifted / pacey players a real platform plus Ranieri has been superb at the helm ... particularly with his 'in game' management ... showed it again on Sunday when he was quick to recognise Martial's threat and switched the very speedy Schlupp with Mahrez to give Danny Simpson support to deal with Martial ... we then grew into the game and were able to put pressure on United that culminated with the equaliser ...

Wouldn't argue your points I'd just add to them that in the end we weren't good enough and City were, just like your club were Fosse, once again well done.<ok>

Again, they were often able to do what they did owing to the threat of Suarez.

As I've said, look what happened when he was sold.,...

We'll have to wait and see the season after next when Kane is sold, see how spectacularly Spurs implode.

and we'll ignore the fact that Sturridge played 12 games the following season, it became apparent that Gerrard's legs had gone and Sterling effectively went on strike. Got it mate!
