Just shows how good Fergie really was and his players are still dragging a poor side up the table with a terrible manager in charge

the current squad is mainly down to de gea, without him they would be well and truly fecked, dont rate van gaal, well not any more, used to be a good manager, think hes lost it personally.

not sure what to make of the current team either, they have some decent players but then most of the teams in the prem have decent players now days, even you lot :bandit:

also fergie was blessed with schmeicel, quality keeper.

Seems like a logical thing to do when the crowd are baying for your blood lol <whistle>

Young Pennington being coached to stop when he's had a little push letting Bournemouth in to equalise top job that..

Yeah, you have to blame Sheeds and Rhino for that.

He has been under their wing for so long

    Rafa Bluenitez?

Rafa Benitez among names being considered by Everton should Newcastle be relegated as Toffees eye replacement for Roberto Martinez

The meltdown over the park would be an 11 on the Richter Scale.<laugh>

Way i see it... Sunderland to beat chelsea. Sunderland have been brilliant and are very strong at home. Sunderland are chelseas bogey team. Chelsea haven't been in good form. Chelsea are on the beach. Sunderland will make it a physical game

Sunderland to beat Everton. Again Sunderland solid at home. Everton players on the beach and obviously martinez has lost the dressing room. Can't see anything but sunderland win

Away to Watford. Draw, sunderland aren't great away from home but watford have been dire recently. They struggled to beat this pathetic villa side!

Everton are decent away from home and Watford are decent at home. Can't see Sunderland scoring more goals than Chelsea, especially with hazard picking up his form in prep for his summer move.

    no?

Cheslea (h) tough but it is at home
    Everton (h) everton on hols
    Watford (a) watford dross

I can see 6 or even 7 with luck there

Thats why i think newkie need 6.

    norwich

    Utd (h)
    Watford (h)
    Everton (a)

I can see 6 there too. (or even 7)

For me if newkie take 4 they'll have done ok but can still go down.

I think having villa is a great boon but must win and honestly the fixtures that weekend do smile on newcastle so that pressure could build up on midweek games.

    Its really tight.
