Don't know about anyone else but I actually fancy us to beat a deflated Spurs on Sunday that's missing Alli & Dembele (possibly Toby too?) Bring it on!!

    Anyone else on here going?

Maybe Leicester winning will make Ronald believe and he'll sign a contract extension. He does keep saying that it does show that it's not all about money. .....or am I clutching at straws?

Regarding the players who left. It's only Schneiderlin and Clyne who would have improved us this season. I don't think we miss Lovren, Rickie, Shaw or Lallana. Our replacements were all just as good. J-Rods injury was the biggest blow.

Our opportunity was missed when we didn't sign another striker last year in January. That still grates me. On the cusp of top 4 and no ambition to seal it by spending a few pennies.

Morgan & Toby leaving (although VVD is a more than capable replacement for the later) plus not having Forster until March would have made a big enough points difference to have us firmly in the CL spots and chasing, but hats off to Leicester, they have been truly exceptional this year and are without doubt worthy champions.

Every team has their injuries though. I'm sure West Ham fans will feel they could have finished higher had Carroll been fit for more games. Fair enough Toby, i forgot about him. Imagine VVD and Toby as centre backs. Very tasty.

So we'd play with 3 CBs....as you couldn't possibly be suggesting that we drop Fonteo_O

I don't think it would have been fair if we'd ever been able to play a 3 CB team of Fonte, VVD and Toby. Jeez. They would have typed "nil" in the opponents column straight away.

Thing is, there are only so many players who are worth 50 million plus. It's not like Man City/Chelsea can go and find a 50 mill replacement in every position, and realistically be in with a chance of signing them (no other bids from rivals etc). The truth is, 20 million, if scouted well, will buy you a top player. What is happening in the Prem now is that every team is gonna be able to start buying 3 or 4 20 million quid players each summer. Therefore theoretically things should get more even. I'm holding on for a Premier League that is as unpredictable as the Championship.

Am I the only one that thinks, okay, they lost their heads and it all got a bit unseemly, but it was actually quite refreshing to see quite how much it meant to the Spuds lot and Poch? Of course it could have been handled better, and the tunnel stuff seems to have gone too far, but please, can we not dilute passion in the sport. I'd have been disappointed had they taken it limply.

Agree to an extent, I think they let themselves down a bit by letting themselves drop to Chelseas level, particuarly in 2nd half when they were 2 up and had no need to get involved in all that ****.

I agree it was good to see the passion etc. n wouldn't like to see footy any other way, but I think they went a bit far the other way and it cost them in the end. I suppose that's what happens when you have a young team though.

Of all the teams to face, Chelsea was always going to be the worst. A spiteful bunch of angry underachievers. They won last night, because they wanted to make it a dirty fight and they 100% succeeded in doing that. Happy for Leicester, but I do feel a little sorry for Kane & co. Hopefully they can take this incredible hunger they have into the summer competition and achieve some quite possibly bigger.

There's passion and being disapointed, then there's losing your head and going over the top. Spurs fell into the second bit which which for me anyways is too much. Some of the tackles going in were disgusting and on another night could have been career ending. It's like the Spurs players thought " **** it we aren't winning the league that's break some legs". Walker, Dier, Lamela, Rose (not for his hand stamp) could all of been sent off just for bad tackles alone. Then you have the Dembele eye gauge, Lamela stepping on Cesc's hand, Dembele trying to fight Costa in the tunnel, Vorm pushing and try to start a fight, Vertonghen putting Costa in a head lock ( then getting bit by Costa) and probably more. Nah sorry that isn't just showing passion for me.
