Depends on how well Conte gets acclimatised to the PL I suppose.
We have the players to do well, if Conte hits the ground running and his signings gel, then who knows.
Anyway, this is all opinion. Who would have though Chelsea would finish mid table and Leciester would win the PL this season?

I can get why you're optimistic, honestly I can.
Its just that I have seen this bravado from Spurs fans so many times when they look to be building a decent team, which in fairness, you do often.
But then after a couple of seasons, the players heads all get turned, results suffer, and then hello Man United and Real Madrid, circling like sharks......happens to Spurs all the time.
And I have no reason to suspect this time will be different.

 

You didn't manage to beat Leicester in the PL. Quite apt really.

Might be an interesting exercise to see just how much praise you gave Liverpool for finishing second a couple of seasons ago!

 

OK, you win NSIS. Growing up as a frustrated United fan it was always my dream for us to finish second to Leicester City. These are the great times for Spurs. I envy you!

 

Exactly, I see this Spurs team in the same vein as that Liverpool team.
Decent young team spearheaded by a great striker. But I think they will go the same way.

Why should Spurs fans be upset at finishing 2nd? Who is celebrating? Or do you mean Spurs fans are not having a meltdown and enjoy watching their team and supporting our manager? To you that reads as Spurs fans are having an open top bus parade?

Stop being a hypocrite Stan...on the one hand you give yourself a pat on the back because you are calling a spade a spade I.e your team is ****. Yet on the other hand you criticise someone else for calling a spade a spade I.e It's good to be a Spurs fan, so why not enjoy it.

Yes, we very unluckily lost to Leicester with a last minute goal after battering then for most of the game.

A few seasons out of the limelight and Stan is on a constant subtle meltdown, now and again he snaps and starts talking like a plastic because he is starved of recent success. That's a pretty small mind for a fan of a team who has enjoyed ample success...very plasticky.
