Apparently one of our players went for Hiddink in the tunnel scuffle and he ended up on the floor too, which isn't good to see.

Agree with the above though, it got physical and heated but Dembele's eye inspection antics were the worst of what happened during the game. Probably just helping him out with a contact lense...

Shame it spilled over into the tunnel at the end though.

And the game was a classic example of when a referee's mentality of 'letting it flow' backfires massively. Sometimes it works but sometimes a ref needs to assert dominance on a game earlier before it gets out of hand. Easier to say perhaps in retrospect, but definitely the case IMO.

Tell that to Hoddle is a God then mate.

Only popped over to say hard luck and read this. He is the biggest WUM out there. Always calls in to our board just after a defeat.

Anyway. You have a top coach. Sadly.

Hope you Yids are feeling fine today.

I'm over any lingerings of negativity. I just want us to keep this squad together and next year we can look forward to some more good days as a Spurs fan. The odd experienced signing and we are good to go again.

I'm so glad, regardless of all the retrospective issues that might occur, that the Spurs boys are a bunch of nasty ****ers, ready for the battle...long may it continue.

    COYS.

Normally the handbags and **** annoys the hell out of me. The antics of Alli, Lamella etc. It's got no useful place in the game.

Have to say though, that I feel bloody proud of the passion and fight shown by the team last night. Could anything be more unspursy than that ?

Each board has it's own Mods and it's own rules so that's not for Spurs mods to handle.

Apparently the FA are looking at footage which could mean bans for Eric Dier, Mousa Dembele and Kyle Walker. Mousa's definitely going to miss the next two games so that's a given. Walker is a possibility but Dier would be a big loss if we want to secure second and win our last two games.

Question is... who fills in for Dier to maintain our solid line in front of the back four if he's out. Wondering if perhaps Wimmer could do that role. Thoughts?

Okay, so the disappointing collapse in the second half aside, I ****ing loved what I saw yesterday.

Chelsea have some of the most despicable and disliked players in the Prem and the sheer fact we kicked the **** out of them brought a huge smile to my face, we're due to be fined for excessive bookings and no doubt some of our lads will get bans but I can't help but just laugh at how aggressive we got.

Fabregas was a clear target, he was kicked, nudged and then superbly stamped on by Lamela, usually I'd never condone this sort of behaviour but seeing as it happened to a former Goon-turned-chav who also opened his mouth to the media, I couldn't help but laugh at his misfortune.

The only problem I have with Dembele's eye gouge was that it wasn't hard enough, evidenced by the fact Costa didn't even hold his hand over the correct eye, the soppy prick.

How Dier remained on the pitch is a mystery to me, not that I'm complaining.

God only knows what would've happened if Alli was on the pitch, he'd have been off by half time after punching Terry and fly kicking Costa while then waving as he walked away down the tunnel <laugh>.

Back to proper footballing matters, a 2-2 draw at Chelsea isn't a bad result, just disappointing in the context of how it happened after being 2-0 up with chances for more, the wait for a win there continues, unfortunately. Thought the full backs played well, yet again gave 100% and done their best trying to contribute in both attack and defence, Harry and Eriksen also worked hard while Lamela put in a shift too.

Looking forward to facing Southampton next week with half a squad <laugh>

Unusually SoS I don't agree with most of that, because it's the norm for me to very much agree with your posts, but you still managed to make me feel better. <ok>

What will Dier and Walker get done for mate?

Mousa is pretty much nailed on for a ban, though Torres got away with similar when he scratched Jan in the face a couple years back so there could be hope but I can't see it. Lamela will 100% get done for the stamp in my opinion, he tries to act oblivious but everyone knows the intent was there. The main problem on that is if they both get bans, it'll mean they'll miss the first game of next season as it'll like be 3 matches.

If we are without Dembele AND Dier it'll be a huge problem, Mason has looked so off the pace it's a joke, I hoped than when he returned from injury he'd have a fresh pair of legs but he's looked more ****ed than those who've played consistently. Carroll can't play DM and if Toby's injured then Wimmer will be needed alongside Jan, if we're able too then perhaps recalling Dom Ball could be an option, apparently he's played really well at DM for Rangers, although it's a bit of leap to go from Scottish Championship to English Prem. CCV might also be an option.

I can't say I'm too impressed with myself for enjoying the dirty aspects of our game to be honest mate but I despise Chelsea so much and after the recent comments to the press from their players, coupled with their usual in-game tactics, I think it's about time Spurs became the villains in a match for once.

This is what might happen when you move such a game to Monday night.
It would never have been such a ''fight'' if played Saturday or even Sunday at the same time or before Leicester's.
    It's all sky's fault.

Provocation does not seem to figure in the FA's judgement (why am I not surprised at FA incompetence) So players like Costa and Huth and Adam can get away with all sorts while the FA punish the victims of their work when they snap and retaliate.
And I don't don't agree with the non retaliation bit either. The question that should be asked is who exactly brings the game into disrepute? No 1 on that list is the FA itself.

I've seen the video a few times and it's hard to see who it is that knocks Hiddink over. I think he was just caught up in the brawl rather than actually being targeted, a shame though because he's the one class individual associated with that club.

From what it looks like, one of Chelsea's players (Mikel?) snuck up behind Rose and shoved him, which caused him to fly into Hiddink.

Which is about their level, really.

They were trying to push Vorm away, so perhaps it was him who floored Hiddink. Might be a bit of previous there, Dutch manager/player etc. If so, clever chap, bode his time and when the opportunity arose, managed to lump the twat nicely. The rest could learn from that.

I thought it was a great derby apart from them equalising. Lamela may not get a ban if the ref saw it and considered it an accident. Personally I would have showed Fibreglass two yellows, one for making such a meal of it (attempting to get an opponent booked) and one for harranging an official. Dembele's face poke (it was below his eye) was sadly a bit handbags, he should have lumpted him properly. Kane does/did a bit of boxing, perhaps he should take Alli and Dembele to the gym and teach them how to punch properly. If you are going to get a ban really you should at least break the other guys jaw so that he is out twice as long as you.

I wouldn't go as far as to say it's all Sky's fault, but I would be fairly certain that if it was one of the Sky favourites like ManU or Chelski themselves chasing Leicester than there is no way that their matches would have always followed Leicester's. Frankly if Sky were interested in more excitement then surely having Spurs play first would have been far more interesting? I am wondering that if Sky knew it wasn't going to be one of the favoured teams to win it, then their next best option was for a complete outsider to do so. I'm not claiming the thing was rigged, but it's simply harder to play catch up when you're already points behind. Also they should have thought of possible security issues with such a prominent and potentially problematic London derby being played on Bank Holiday Monday.

After watching Twattenberg's performance last night, Howard Webb finally understands why the whole world thought he was a colossal dingleberry after the 2010 World Cup final.

I disagree there, do you remember the start of the season where you struggled to score?

Leicester were playing great football until February time when they knew they could win the title.
