Great for them as they have proven themselves to be the most consistent team over the season and all at a reasonable price. Got to say I was hoping Spurs would win tonight to keep them in contention until the last game, but everything seems to be just conspiring not to give us any leeway. Just have to smash Chelsea this Saturday.
Brilliant. Well earned. Most of their team were at Vardy's house watching. A fella texted 606 'I live next door to someone called Vardy. Apparently, he's a footballer. The roof of his house just came off.'. Somebody replied 'Go round and complain'!
They're still not guaranteed second place yet though, Nos. Arsenal are only 3 points behind them with 2 games to play.
Great for Leicester. I was disappointed by the petulence and poor sportsmanship of Spurs tonight for all I enjoyed their excellent football all season
I think it's the most amazing sports story of all time, mainly because of the amount of games that it involves. It's much bigger achievement than one fight, ten matches, whatever. I heard they're making a film about it and focusing on Vardy, **** that he's had a good season but he seems a bit of a knob, Ranieri is the man to take centre stage. Are there any nicer people in football out there?
Just think off all those people who cashed in their bets (i would have). Congrats to those that held their nerve 5000/1. Enjoy your mega windfall.
Ranieri is a cool bloke. Just think many on here were going mental when he was linked. Fools. On the opposite end of the scale. That fella at Bouremouth seems a decent fella.
What I can't work out is how a Thai monk can do something to the team when they toured there pre-season and he obviously inspired them to these heights. We go to the Pope and are nowhere, send for the Dalai Llama quick, at least he can spread joy and happiness in the dressing room. As our local rep in Thailand can you not rustle up a monk up for us?
Aye i read about the monks going over and doing the blessing malarky. They have been and blessed the King Power stadium a few times. Reckon i should send a few ladyboys over to cheer our lot up. Their owner is not a wealthy man. In Prem terms. So perhaps the monks spells have done something.
Yeah, I heard a stat last night that put it perfectly. Apparently, Man. U. have spent more on players in the last two seasons than Leicester have in their 132 years existence. Just think, Rodwell, Johnson and Fletcher cost more than their entire team! Shocking.
Just looking at Leicester fixtures. Already have Celtic and PSG lined up in July and Barca in August. Guess it beats trips to Cork and Yeovil.
