Note that Derby have already got tickets on sale for the home leg, is there any reason why we aren't doing the same? Surely we aren't going to wait until after the Rotherham game and give ourselves a week to try and sell the game out. Get the ****ing tickets on sale City.
Suppose there's still a chance we could finish 5th which would change the dates a bit. Should be on sale though.
The dates are irrelevant, if Derby are selling their tickets already then we should be doing the same. Tickets valid for whenever the home game is played obviously. Sort it out Mr Mooney.
Selling tickets before you know the actual date is stupid. It would be even more stupid in Ull. Can you not imagine the whining and demands for refunds when its the Saturday and not the Sunday or vice versa? What different's it make leaving until we know? The same people will buy tickets, the same people won't. Not like we'll run out. So, calm the **** down princess.
How many tickets will we get at their place? Be interesting to see how they're allocated. Will everybody want to go? How will the fact it's on TV affect it? Etc.
If we wait until the end of the season, it will leave us less than a week to sell tickets to the first game, considering we don't have a ticket office and they only post tickets bought at least four days ahead of a game, it's got disaster written all over it.
Its gonna be a print at home shambles. I went to Rugby (£5 by the way ) on Friday and none of the people with print at home tickets could get in
The club can't distribute away tickets using print at home. We will be playing away at Derby on Saturday week. If we wait until next weekend then fans will have the Monday and Tuesday only to get tickets sent out, or queue up at the club shop.
they'll have to send all the away tickets to Derby on the team bus and everyone will have to queue as Brucie calls your name and hands them out
They'll also offer current ST holders a couple of days priority to secure their seats which will further delay the general sale. Tickets should be on sale to everyone first thing tomorrow morning with all ST holders seats reserved until next Tuesday (for the benefit of those who can't commit until they know the exact date).
You think we'd sell more tickets by selling them from now? Really? You think if there's a change of position on final league game day, and our playoff fixtures are changed, that there wouldn't be histrionics about how it's messed peoples plans up? Really? I know you're not that stupid, so stop either just being contrary for the sake of it, or share with us all where these extra tickets would be sold and to who. There is literally no reason to start selling them before the fixtures are known. Anyone who wants a ticket will get one.
Tickets sold now would be on the basis that they could be for one of two dates, there is absolutely no reason why they should not start selling them now and plenty of reasons why they shouldn't wait.
