Got a chance to see how much better we are with Washington up front on his own now, presumably.

 

I was discussing this yesterday with a mate. Both of us said he needs a Bobby Zamora type with him otherwise he gets isolated.

 

That's right Jimmy take off our best player so far....

 

Or we might try and pass it a bit more, could work.

 

Sadly we don't have the players to do that now.

 

I hope we can find an equaliser, it would really upset Sky's script

 

Can't watch the rest if we're gonna pump it long to Washington in hope of scoring a goal. The poor lad clearly can't play up there on his own

 

He was signalling two up front when he came on, but it doesn't look like anyone is up there with him.

 

I'd laugh my bollocks off if we were to get a late equaliser.

 

Sadly we look a perfect fit for this league. Let's hope some magic happens over the summer.

They will be coming straight back down, and I hope they are humiliated this time, after spending a fortune in the window, including a five year contract at huge wages for Barton. In the course of this game I have developed a deep dislike of them.

Burnley reminds me of a Warnock type side. Strong with good strikers

 

Dont think either of them can be effective as a lone striker, if JFH doesn't see them as a pair, or is even willing to try them as such I can't see why he bought Washington.
