Two games we cannot find the back of the net.!!!

Two friendlies Liverpool were unable to score, conceded six goals
in all.Though they are only friendly games to keep the players fit.
The first half Liverpool were missing, and former Liverpool player Milan Baros took his
chances.Can we argue that many of our first team players were not there.?

 

Last pre season game I watched fully was when I went to see us play away at a then (old) second division Stoke in 2000. We lost 1-0. We still went on to achieve great things that season.

its a worry that you have no depth, you were missing some key players but should they be missing when it counts it still looks like despite spending over 100 million you wont have the depth required to get a top 5 finish.

 

i think kenny is regretting buying carroll too, but time will twll on that one

I think Carroll is a child of circumstances.There was urgency to buy a striker.It would be wrong to fault the judgement of Kenny.
Carroll have all the time in the world to prove himself.

It would be fair to say he was somewhat isolated up there. I'm certainly reserving judgement until we see the full team set-up.

i know the two u scored six were against full time malaysian miners who were part time footballers?

if u played european sides then their is a massive difference in quality organisation etc, the malaysia tour was nothing more than a comerical push.

 

liverpool have conceeded 12 goals in 4 games, thats pretty shocking even if your reserves have been playing.
